Rest of NFL must not think highly of him. I'm guessing his disposition comes into other teams thinking.

He only has one year left on his contract that plays a big part in it.

I sure hope Wilson and Austin don't read this thread;) I wonder if Metcalf came here knowing he'd be the man?? Maybe we'll get a second decent "Cutch";)

Jags release Gabe Davis. Def not a #1, but 6'2" and serviceable.

In that case they should have kept Pickens. They made themselves worse. Even if Khan gets another WR this time, who out there is as good as Pickens?

So we go into the season... again... with only one good receiver and no true starter at QB.

    Tank it is!

7 picks in the first 4 rounds would be nice.

I originally thought the trade was bringing up 2 picks, but I see it is really only 1?
We gain a 3rd but swap picks... so it's only a 3rd... maybe my info is wrong.

Anyway, Cooper should be signed immediately. That's at least a mild attempt.
I might even be tempted to bring Davis to camp for a look and see.

I see Calvin Austin and Robert Woods as depth. Austin has shown some flashes though, more of a slot guy.

They have no quarterback and they just dealt away a key starter for peanuts. That sure looks like tanking.

I thought they received the three and a five the following year and send back a seven.

If your going to rebuild and tank 2025 then just ****ing say it. Would have liked to have one year with a great receiving core. Any WR they bring in before the season will be a hack aka discarded garbage, this is why we can’t have anything nice. Sick of this organization. Why would you sign Rodgers now total **** show or maybe they already know he isn’t signing.

The trade with Seattle in March makes even less sense if they want to tank.

and if we get a top 5 draft pick. and a new coach. we can turn this team around.

imagine what it will be like to actually have a #2 WR and a QB...... how long has it been that we actually had a QB perform in the top 20?

No team is ever going to say they are tanking. Plus Tomlin has that streak!!

Spin it however you like. The fact is the Steelers got fleeced in this trade.

Hopefully met drama will have Tomlin to leave. As well this team won't care to get over 500.

Rodgers loves that guy. So bet we'll give up at least a 4th for him.

    You may be right.
We send them Pickens and a 2027 6th
    We get 2026 3rd and a 2027 5th...

    So I was way off.
But we would have maybe 10 picks in 2026. Depending on the Comp pick distributions.

Agreed, though that trade was always about more than 2025. That is why they locked up Metcalf long term.

Davis had knee surgery in November but should be good to go at the beginning of the season.

Lazard is not a production of George pickens. Plus will honestly probably cost us a minimum of a 4th, now that
    - Rodgers would want him
    - jets know we are in need
