Extra 1/8 of an inch is what I was implying. You know...... that way I can call it an even foot.

 

That would be 4 by 8....not 4/8. There is no 4/8, 8/16, 16/32, or 32/64....it's all 1/2 in measuring in standard, in every state I've ever been licensed to work.
Some states don't use standard, they use metric, and then we would be speaking about something else.
