What do you mean? He’s a physical safety that we would look to develop…He could turn into a useable piece as an extra DB in Dime, or even a playable SS at some point. If not, he’s a 7th round pick. A large majority of players selected here don’t last long in the league. He’s a decent player with bloodlines that the NFL likes. Worse players than Shilo are going to get drafted.

Went back to PFN and did another mock now that teams have wrapped up the 30 visit campaign. Some players from earlier mocks have definitely moved around the site. Traded down several times and wound up with 9 picks. Double dipped on DT to start the draft. This is improbable, but as a fan, I would be happy with it.

Got a NT and a DE. Benton can now move outside to replace Larry O, and Grant can stuff the run and pass rush. Got one of the best RB's in a loaded class. Double dipped at QB. Rourke of course will go straight to the practice squad. I think he's a hidden gem. We need to get some lines in the water to catch our QB. Doesn't mean you don't draft one high next year. McCord or Rourke could be a good back-up or a trade piece for you. And got a huge, athletic freak CB to develop. He's a little older but has potential to be a good back up/spot starter.

This one is just silly. :lolol: I traded down twice. I didn't intend to take three DL but when Broughton was still there @#185 it was a must draft situation. The DLine fixed.

Two trades in this one! On PFN, trading OUT of the first round gives fantastic results to fill a lot of our holes. I just don't think our Steelers will. Sad but I believe they are QB or bust in the 1st, even with a trade down in the 1st. This one I actually like the triple dip at DT. That was where the BPA kicked in. I'll give you the first three picks might not be where I drafted them, BUT the could be, as I believe the QB's are overvalued by the media as always, NT's drop even him, and Hampton isn't that much of a stretch. My first three are whwew I would take them.

    Allen.

Nice! Love everything but OT and last pick only because I don't know them very well.

Of all the Qb's mentioned at the top-mid in this draft, I believe he is the biggest risk.

Different sports shows have him all over the place, and I think that is exactly how much we (and they) really know. Some talk has him moving up, some in the 2nd...all the wat to the 4th. I personally would be more comfortable if they could find a partner and make a trade down, not necessarily out of the 1sr, but try and grab at least a 3rd. I do not know what or how they rate him or other QB's, but think he would be if they traded down.

A team like the Giants that need everything could look to trade back into the first. Our spot at 21 and our 5th would equal their 2nd and 3rd. I'd be open to a move like that. Two second(DK and 34) and two third round picks(65 and 83) would be a fine trade.

It's not the number of picks, it is when you pick. I can't say this is truth, but several annalists this week spoke of how the talk is that there are only 3-5 truly top guys, 12 to 15 that rate out about equal value. What they were saying is depending on the team, needs, and their personal board the amount of trades may be down in the 1st. Now you may have those who reach, but the value in athleticism and talent is about the same. Then you find great depth in certain positions beyond that. Having 4 in the first 83 would ne outstanding, not sexy and a boring first night, but a good team builder.

I would love this draft. I think the Ravens will take Harmon if he is there at their pick though.

I don’t you take a QB in the first round if you are the Steelers. However it has already been stated the Steelers value Dart as a 1st rd. QB so there is a good chance he could get drafted by them. I think it is a desperate move by the Steelers to draft a QB in the first round. If we do it were gonna end up passing on really good DL and CB talent which are both positions of need. If we can get Howard in round three I would draft him there. We can probably still get a good RB in the fourth.

Another two trades down in the 1st. Trading down is really looking good this year! Triple dip at DT, and double dip at RB because of value. Really wanted a CB, but OG and OT value won out.

I'm not a fan of a QB in 1st even trading down, but preparing myself that tis is what Steelers will do trading down or not. I would stick and take Harmon. Although this draft fixes the O-line, and D-line for the future to allow us to fill other positions in future years. 2026 1st rd QB? S? WR? CB? Even with a haul like this, still a long way to go to get back to elite team, but a great three drafts by Kahn if it fell this way.

This one is my “build for a 2026 QB” mock. I picked up a 2nd, 3rd and 6th in the 2026 draft. Included in that was a trade of Pickens to Arizona for a 2026 3rd, a 2025 4th and WR Michael Wilson who is entering his 3rd season as a decent #2/#3 WR. I took Howard in the 4th because at that point it just seemed like the value was too good to pass up. I personally think he has a pretty low chance of being a franchise QB, but a pretty good chance to have 5+ year career as a backup/bridge starter. PFF obviously hated my late round picks, but I was filling needs late on Day 3 and Gray seems to be a good fit for a ZBS.

I just don't like Sanders. Swap in Dart if there, or more likely Slough, and I'm jumping for joy!!! Even with Sanders, I'm very, very happy.

Several trade downs, but if this what could come out of it, I'd be a very happy fan indeed. if all the pundits are correct (not likely) and the blue chip prospects will be gone in the top 5-7 picks, then there is a possibility that trades could factor heavily in the draft as teams swap around to try and get the players they feel the best about. No matter how many times I've done mocks, Sanders is never there at 21. I don't know, I'm just not excited with him being the pick at 21. I hope they trade back if he is there and let someone else assume the risk. Shough is my choice.

I find these mock drafts people do on these sights real entertaining, probably fun for
fans to do this . But in the real world(Steelers FO) don't work like that. Now the GM from Philly isn't afraid to
do deals but Steelers usually don't. I am hoping that they grow a pair and due some dealing to get a pick in 2nd
or third round but I have my doubts.
