Mock your draft but with possible picks the Steelers could take, but prospects you would hate to see them draft.

Without trades the Browns and the Ravens can't grab our guy this draft. But the Bengals sure can. And you know they are drafting defense. I would not be surprised if they draft one of the favorites on this board just a few picks before us.

I think that is a very real possibility. And I would hate it.

27% of attempted tackles in 2024 were missed making Harmon a hard pass from me. That number isn’t exactly an outlier for him either as he has just under 20% missed tackle rate for his collegiate career. Give me Nolen in the first please. Or trade with Washington or buffalo and pick up a second round.

I’m not concerned about Harmon’s tackling. In 4 games I saw exactly 1 missed tackle on a ball carrier. What I did see was an annoying but fixable tendency to disengage from pass protection and make an out of control beeline straight for the QB, making it easy for a QB with any athleticism to sidestep. Very fixable, and the fact that he was there to make the sack had he maintained more control is a plus. I saw 3 misses in 4 games just from that issue.

My knock on Harmon is that he’s not twitchy. He’s a pure power player. He’ll win with power, but not a quick twitch move.

not many teams were in position to run the ball against oregon either. the numbers could have been worse for harmon. most teams had to pass.

I think the Bengals will take Kenneth Grant who I actually prefer over Harmon.

I don’t think they had either Grant or Harmon visit. Nolen did, and seems to be a better fit for their base 4 man front.
