Couple TV shows some may enjoy

That show on Netflix called "Adolescence" was OK. Only 4 episodes.

 

"Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue" is pretty good. Funny seeing "Will" from Will and Grace beating the crap out of a guy to get information.

 

Is this the sequel to "8 Heads in a Duffel Bag"?

 

"The Residence" 8 part series on Netflix is kind of fun and silly. To see Gus Fring as the Head Butler at the White House in an Agatha Christie type series is worth it.

 

On Godfather of Harlem Gus (Esposito) plays Adam Clanton Powell Jr. It is a series about Bumpy Johnson running Harlem in the 60's. Pretty good if your into that sort of thing.

I think me and STD were only members that get MGM+ where the series is on.

We just started Just One Look on Netflix. We've only watched one episode so far, but the first episode was intriguing. It's dubbed, which is a little distracting, and the voice acting is the typical dubbing that sounds a little off, but otherwise, it has been good so far. Hoping it's going to be a good show.

 

I tried 'Mob Town" on Showtime but I cannot understand that type of English they speak in London.

 

I'm not a big Harlan Coben fan. I've read a few of his books and this one was a favorite of mine. I read it long ago. Some of his other books have been made into movies/series and mostly good.

 

Black Mirror is coming back to Netflix. Very odd stories. Some were awesome and some I didn't get.

 

We just watched Adolescence. It's a 4 episode show that my wife's sister recommended. It was good enough that we ended up watching all of it in one day, which we typically don't do. It wasn't amazing, but was intriguing enough to finish. But it definitely isn't the "Feel Good Show of the Summer."

 

It was OK. Only 4 episodes so I did it in a day. Kid was a good actor.

 

The one writer and creator was pretty good acting in it too.

Just finished it. Pretty good. My Lady and I kept betting on who dun it and I picked the right dude and she picked the right gal well in advance. I didn't realize that the Doc was Will. Agatha Christie meets the jungle.

 

I too guest Will just because he was a Doctor or so I thought. I did dig the ending. His old co-worker, Karen, is pretty good in The Righteous Gemstones on HBO/MAX.

I am currently enjoying The Drop Out. I remember hearing about the story in news shows, but this mini-series is a really fun behind the scenes glimpse of what happen. I love that they have her using her FAKE "Deep" voice that I read about on Wiki when she is trying to impress people or on TV.

It is funny, you really root for the geeky girl in the first three episodes, and then things really go off track. Proof that some people need to stay in college and get the knowledge they need to do their job, not every college Drop Out can be a success in their field. "You don't understand the science!"

 

My favorite line

We started Money Heist and got bored partway through the 1st episode, so we stopped. Then we tried Zero Day, and it was OK, but it was kind of like someone said "lets make 24 with less excitement." We stopped after a couple of episodes.

Then we started Safe. That one has actually been interesting and I'm looking forward to getting back into it this evening.

 

Black Mirror on Netflix has another strange season of individual episodes. Some OK.
