Getting carried away is pretty much how we describe fandom. I'm not painting myself and going shirtless in sub freezing temps just to show which team I'm for. But plenty do. More power to them.
There has been lots of debate this offseason about do we draft a QB, when, which one, everything that can be debated about each QB. But not enough debate over RBs. Lol!

This really is the one thread where you can post your opinion and it be just that.

Xavier Restrepo, Keandre Lambert Smith(will be the steal of this draft), Elijah Badger, and Tez Johnson to name a few. I would take all of these guys ahead of Savion Williams. Savion is a tall athletic guy who struggles with drops. He is a project, the others actually have a chance to contribute.

I wouldn't be so sure. It seems like more and more sites are predicting a slide after his pro day. This year's draft reminds me of 2022. Ward is going to go #1. Beyond that I am not sure any other quarterback is a 1st round lock.

I was thinking no way the Giants dont take him but who knows, maybe they have visions of Archie Manning dancing through their heads and will go all in for him next draft.

Sanders would still need to drop past the Titans and Saints, if he does that, his slide to 21 would probably happen.

I wonder why the scouts have Lambert-Smith rated so low. I typically see a 6th round grade on him. He was a 3 year starter at Penn State and had over 900 yards receiving last year at Auburn. He runs a 4.37, is 6"1 -190lbs and all of the reports say that he has good hands. The knock on him is that he needs to improve his route running but heck that is easily fixable.

Guessing you didn't see how Smith used Patterson in Atlanta. Williams could do that on day one.

As for the guys you listed, Lambert-Smith is a speed weapon. He's lanky and ran a steady diet of hitch routes with a few go routes peppered in. But where are you using him on this team? He also had an 8.8% drop rate, since you're concerned about Williams' hands.

Tez Johnson is 5'9" and 160 lbs. soaking wet. Speedy, but not much of a route tree. Hands were an issue until last year. His only fit is at slot behind Austin III and Wilson.

I like Restrepo's attitude. He's a tough dude, but he's another slot - and one without much burst or speed. Ran a 4.85/40 at his pro day.

Badger I like as an outside Z. Good speed and hands, needs brushing up on technique/footwork.

Williams is a risk if you're counting on him to develop into a traditional X receiver's role. But if the Steelers are drafting him here, they're looking to deploy him as more of a joker, developing his receiving skills along the way. Given that and his physical talents, I don't see where the guys you mentioned have a better chance of contributing.

Only 5 picks left before we vote again.... I'm thinking RB, and there's a pretty good list of runners still available...

I'm torn for the moment between the following.:

    1. Tennessee's Dylan Sampson
    2. Kansas's Devin Neal
    3. Oregon's Jordan James
    4. UCF's RJ Harvey.

Blue ran a 4.25 at his pro day. He ran a 4.38 at the combine but was still bothered by a torn groin muscle.

He's built like a WR, and I wouldn't be surprised if whoever gets him tries to convert him
