why did he say he has been rehabbing??!!!????

I thought when Troy came back and finished the season he was good to go?

I think Troy wants Bradshaw in here because The Young money crew was messing up the chemistry of the team. And honestly I think Antonio Brown was a culprit in that too, not just Wallace. We just give Brown a pass because he is the better player.

Maybe he just meant further strengthening the calf. I haven't heard of any operations or anything. And I was thinking it might have been Sanders if at all, since Brown did speak out about people being a problem. Maybe it was just Mendy and Wallace

Brown doesn't get a pass in my mind, not after that crap he pulled by running backwards. That is not what this team is traditionally about and I have no time for that BS! Tomlin should have sat his ass on the bench the rest of that game and the rest of the next game as well. There should be no place on the Pittsburgh Steelers for that garbage. We're better than that. What it shows though is that we have no leadership. That stuff would not have been tolerated if Peezy was still on the team, he wouldn't have allowed it. Ward and Bettis are the same way, they wouldn't tolerated that crap.

We need to get back to being the real Pittsburgh Steelers and we need some hard-nosed veteran leadership. Ben and Heath Miller are not leaders and they never will be.

Nope, Broncos and Packs. Jets may have at one point but it's just Steelers, Denver and GB at the moment.

Hey, this is exactly why I come here for all the latest Steelers news.

By the way, IF Bradshaw is healthy and we fail to sign him, I give the Steelers a big, fat F- in free agency. If we sign Bradshaw, we can pull our grade up to a solid C+.

You do realize that even if the Steelers make an offer Bradshaw has to accept it right?

No problem! I don't know why, but I just have a feeling he will be in Black and Gold next season. I get the impression he wants to be here, likes the organization (it's very much like the Giants organization) and know he is friends with Sanders. Of course money talks so that's a big strike against us.

So you are fully on board with Bradshaw now? You had reservations when interest in him first came about.

I've never had a problem with how he plays football, just with how he plays women.

I feel that in recent years the "showmanship" has been more prominent among Steeler players. Perhaps I'm just more sensitive to it, though. I can say that Wallace, Brown, Sanders, and Taylor do far more bragging/talking/showing out than I am comfortable with. I don't like it at all.

With Wallace gone, maybe that "culture" will be disrupted such that the "showmanship" will decrease. I hope for that.

I love to hear Kevin Green mentioned. Also I never really thought of Wallace as a showboat. I thought of him as many OTHER things thought just never that. I would say AB is the biggest one of the bunch. It really doesn't bother me toooo bad if it's in good fun I'm actually entertained by it. Some people take it to a point that it's no longer within good sportsmanship though.

I don't like the taunting, like Brown running backwards, that's bs but a little dancing after a TD, I don't mind it and can even be entertaining.

A little celebrating after a TD is okay, but all of these ridiculous antics after a FIRST DOWN, like getting up running an additional 5 yards upfield while giving a first down signal, is beyond the pale. AB and Sanders both do it and it's ludicrous. Hopefully, the new WRs coach can inform those two that we don't get points for FIRST DOWNS, only for TOUCHDOWNS and neither of those two have scored enough of them in their respective careers!

Blast Furnace, huh. Well, I kinda like it but it's going to take some getting used to. :smiley1:

@Jack, in total agreement on this one, first down thing is annoying, you got a first down, yippeee, now get in the endzone. And yeah, name is weird for me to see too :lolol:

@Blount, hmmm could be but I know what you are thinking and no, I am not Master Blaster who runs bartertown.

@Thigpen, nope! Hopefully just beginning, here's hoping for many more seasons in the Tomlin Era, he'll just have to put on his big boy pants and do it on his own now :yeehaw:

I agree that AB is part of the problem. He really does not see himself and his hot dogging as a problem. I follow him on FB and he just posted a link of him where the front flips into the end zone.. So clearly he does not think its a bad idea ...

    http://cinemagr.am/show/141628425

Never in my lifetime will I understand why a player like AB would risk injury by flipping into the end zone . the running backwards was bad as well and speaks volumes about his character but at least he was not risking injury

Wallace didn't celebrate after catches or touchdowns it was Brown who has to show off after every first down.
