Saw 'In the Lost Lands'. Worth a stream. Don't pay full theatrical prices.

Just watched The Gorge on Apple TV last night. Pretty interesting albeit bizarre story with compelling action. No spoilers. Check it out.

I enjoyed the new William Tell movie. Hope there is a sequel.

Funny, I always thought he was an archer with a bow, when he shot the apple off his son's head.

What streaming network did you watch it on or was it in a theater? Did they play the Lone Ranger theme throughout? LOL. Will have to check it out.

Just watched a drama/action movie on Peacock called "Plane" as in airplane with Gerard Butler. He's a commercial pilot on a plane that runs into trouble from Hong Kong to Tokyo. Pretty compelling action. And no, Ted Striker didn't have to take over the controls for him, and don't call me Shirley.

I did watch it online; i would have been a little disappointed in the film production quality if I had paid to see it at a theater.

My home theater setup for watching streaming movies from my Website off my computer is not the best, so your mileage may very.

Off Topic: OK guy, I want to know why you don't dig Morgan Freeman??? Guy is a hero to movies as Betty White was to TV. Both treasures that entertained us.

I'm a huge fan of the 'B' monster movies/scifi movies. You can find some 'good and terrible' ones on Prime. Somewhere around my house I own a couple of box set DVDs with a boat load of these old school 'movie of the week' type offerings.

Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity was this weekends feast. A madman hunting scantily clad women through a space jungle with a laser crossbow.

Ditto! My all time favorite is The Beast of Yucca Flats. So low budget that they never synced the sound - only show people listening to someone else talking and then switch. The background narrative is priceless.

Here's one I saw a few weeks ago. Sappier than Plan 9 or Bingo Hell.

Trail of the Screaming Forehead (2007), a low-budget film about a small town infestation of crawling alien foreheads that attach to people and take them over.

    • Premise:
The movie centers around a small town where scientists are experimenting with a dangerous extract called "Foreheadazine" to enhance brainpower, which clashes with an alien invasion of soul-sucking "Forehead Creatures".

One that scared me badly when I was a kid was "The Skull" where some guy buys the skull of the Marquis de Sade and it floats around killing people! Another awful one involved space aliens who were made up of hundreds of eyes. To destroy them, you had to shine a bright light on them. Of course, all the teenagers with cars saved the day! Can't recall the name of that one.

it was okay up until they went into the gorge. Maybe I’ve played too many video games, but that plot is worn out. I watched The Black Phone as well(same director). That was much better imo

I tend to agree with the Gorge contents - a bit too cartoonish/animation - should have borrowed some of the Walking Dead props.
