    I've taken long breaks from the boards (or scaled way back and just browsed without commenting) plenty of times. And during the off-season, it's maybe too easy to find other things to do for a while.

    Hopefully, that's all he's doing. Taking a little vacation.

    I can say with confidence he decided to step away for two reasons. One being personal and the other the toxicity of the board. Will he return? Don’t know as he hasn’t responded since jan

    I heard Spinal Tap is doing a reunion movie - maybe he's been cast as a guitar double? Eerily similar to BFT who told me personally that he had major burnout and changed his life and priorities. Both were burning up the posting record book. perhaps.

    Been waiting for this should be late summer release.

    Can STD go up to 11?:smiley1:

    Studio time isn't cheap
    Hoping he struck a chord with a singer and started doing some more music and or shows.

    I've been in touch with him a couple times, and it's pretty much this. Basically getting a break from some of the post season negativity, which I can't fault anyone for.

    Yeah, I think it just got to be too much for him at the end of the season. Not that, like you said, it isn't an everyday thing all year anyway......

    I’ve been poking him in case he is still viewing the board but he hasn’t taken the bait.

    I guess he has finally excepted my superior football knowledge. I must have broken him when he learned coaches actually choose their own staff :taunt:


    Maybe he’ll come back around for the new season, if not the draft. Draft thread won’t be the same without him clamoring for a DB in every round.

    Everyone of his narratives crashed in the playoff game with the Ravens. He was betting everyone on the board that the Steelers would win the game, that Lamar could never beat us in a playoff game. That we had an elite defense only to watch them get gashed for 300 yards on the ground and he was firmly in the Russell Wilson camp as being a quality NFL quarterback. He is a good guy but everything he stood for about the Steelers collapsed in that game.
