Sander will never be there at 21 in the real draft, if the Steelers want him they will need to move up.

But in the spirit of our draft and since he is available I cast my vote for:

    Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Would have casted my vote for Harmon had Sanders been taken earlier.

This is crazy then. How many people believe that if the Steelers are on the clock and their QB room is Mason and Skylar the Steelers do not take a QB???

It's not about predicting what the Steelers will do. It's what you would prefer.

If Sanders were there at 21, they're taking him. I almost did. But I think Harmon is a great prospect and we still have 83 and the possibility of Rodgers or Wentz in FA.

I feel this same exact way.

I think in real life the Steelers draft a DL, and just read an article that stated we are strongly considering taking Jalen Milroe because we supposedly like him so much.

But because he is available in our draft, I select Prime Time Neon Deion's son:

    Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

There're good options (or at least, should be)
In the 3rd or 4th rd....
Can't say the same for the Defensive front

This could happen in the draft next month. If the Rodgers deal falls through and we have nothing at QB except Mason and Skylar then we probably draft a QB. Sanders will be gone and I hope we take Dart, the thought of drafting Milroe is horrifying.

i don't agree at all on that. To me Mock Drafts are all about guessing who the Team is going to pick.

I think we had this discussion before. You pick like you are the GM of the team, and I pick like I am guessing who the GM of the team will pick.

If Sanders were there at 21 I still wouldn't want them to take him. Next years class has too much talent coming out to reach this year. Yes, reach...because I don't think Sanders has a huge career as a franchise QB.

With that said, I vote for Walter Nolen - DL Ole Miss

There's certainly an element of that to it, because you're selecting who you think is best athlete and fit for the team at that pick.

If you want to treat it like a prediction of what the Steelers would do, that's fine.

    Current Talley..

    Harmon 4
    Sanders 4
    Nolen 3
    Barron 2

Really surprised that there has been no love for Egbuka.

There are a half a dozen players I like at 21 that are still on the board, Egbuka being one of them. Since the Steelers acquired Metcalf, the need for Egbuka evaporated.

If we don't draft either Harmon or Barron, the ravens sure as anything will. If we don't draft Sanders he slides out of the first round probably.

Harmon was my second choice, so that works.

If Sanders makes it to #7 and the Jets don't take him in the actual draft, that tells me they think Fields is better. But then again, the Jets have a history of not being able to evaluate QBs.
