ahh got ya. Well, yeah. Based off recent precedent that offense probably wins us 9-10 regular season games and 0 playoff games.

I don't want the Rodgers circus and I think Wilson is fully washed (and obviously didn't mesh super well with the team/OC). Mason at the very least is a long term back up option and potential helpful mentor for our next QB. The locker room likes him too. Sounds like a winner to me.

I was down on Wilson after the way last season ended, but he could probably thrive throwing deep to Metcalf and Pickens.

My prediction...RW burned his bridges here and will not be back...Rodgers wastes months making a decision and will not be here...Rudolph is QB#1 and we win about 6 games and get a better pick in 2026.

Basing it on how we played last year, our current QB situation, no draft to fill holes yet, and how other teams are looking. I say we will win 6 to 8 games.

At home the Steelers will play the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns in the North, in addition to the Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks.

On the road the team will face Baltimore, Cincinnati and Cleveland, as well as the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots and New York Jets.

We will lose twice to the Ravens and split games in the rest of our division. The bills, packers, vikings, lions, and chargers will beat us. That gives us 9 losses

We will beat the colts, dolphins, patriots, and jets. Add our 2 split division games and we are at 6 wins.

Seahawks and the bears are in my either way category.

The Steelers beat the Chargers and split with the Bengals and Ravens this past season. I wouldn't assume they get swept by the NFC North, either.

That's why they need to double dip at the DL in the draft.

Even Vegas says it's too early to set the odds on win totals. Gotta get through the draft, at least, and maybe wait on camp.

I'm at the point of apathy regarding Steelers. I haven't completely checked out, but until a massive overhaul in the coaching staff starting with HC happens.... we're gonna get the same results at 9-10 wins, either miss the 7th seed or barely squeak in and destroyed by Buffalo, Baltimore, Cincinnati or KC. Rinse and repeat until Popcorn is done.

I blame Tomlin, we should have stuck with Fields. Now he's gone and we have no better option, and we are left looking at the last Turkey in the shop who is also Cuckoo.

The Steelers had the 5th most missed games due to injuries last season. And some of those injuries were to players that were supposed to plug offensive holes.

Wilson lost for the season at a position lacking much depth. Fautanu out most of the year. The Fautanu injury really hurt because it delayed getting any chance to see what the guy brings, and it prevented moving Jones to the other side of the OL. The Daniels injury sucked because he was playing some good ball. They also lost Herbig, which forced McCormick on the field maybe a lot sooner than they wanted him to play. The inexperience of McCormick alongside an often bad Jones made the right side suspect against legit competition. And finally, the injury to Seumalo hurt because he came back maybe sooner than he should have and didn't play all that well.

If the Steelers can avoid the injury bug on the OL this season the play should be visibly improved.

    this is BS data

Facts are not BS data. They suffered heavy losses on the offensive line, and he left out Seamalu missing the start of the season and playing through injury when he returned. Daniels was arguably their best lineman and they lost him for the season early on. His backup was already out for the year. So was their first-round pick. Those injuries hurt the offense. Your obsession with blaming Tomlin for everything doesn't change that.

I agree. Normally I don't feel this way, but I really hope the wheels fall off this year. SOMETHING needs to shake up this organization.

You brought up the term apathy. That's a term that feels so appropriate to describe this team and it's fanbase. Actually malaise more closely describes the fans. Considering how badly we need a QB, and next year having potential to be a much better crop, a better draft choice isn't going to break my heart. A 42 year old QB, who nobody else wants, isn't going to do it.

This era of stagnation needs to end. I'll happily take a non-winning season if it can help break the logjam. It doesn't mean it's a wasted season. No more than another half-assed "playoff run" is. We can get to see our younger players develop. Don't forget, we essentially get an extra 1st and 3rd rd picks to watch develop.

We are simply overmatched by too many teams. Merely winning a playoff game doesn't do anything for me.

we have lousy coaching - lousy.

the OLINE sets up no better entering 2025. or i say little better. little better. they will draft another rookie and he too will be lost, with poor coaching.

facts are not facts. they are data points.

this probably counts Russ Wilson in some injury stat. that is a lousy stat.

Look no further that what the 6-10 seasons of 1999 and 2003 got us. 2000, 2001, 2002 drafts were excellent and built the eventual Super Bowl teams. The 2004 draft was epic because it put us over the top with Roethlisberger at QB. We also got some great players from the '98 and '99 drafts. Steelers have had too many whiffs in the draft since 2013.

.500 or a game either way at best, one and done in Jan, at best

    it's the new Steelers standard
