Football Zebras has learned that the NFL has sent four of its officials to work in the UFL to get extra grass time. Vice president of officiating Ramon George, finishing his first year working in the league office, is setting into motion plans to work with officials in their first five seasons that need additional training and improved performance.

It is an interesting idea of letting NFL teams/officials use the UFL to get real game experience.

I was hoping to see some more NFL QBs on this list besides Matt Corral. I still think raw players like Trey Lance would benefit from the "Extra Grass Time" concept.

Ken Wizenhut had to step down at the last minute on his new head coaching gig with the Memphis Showboats.

FYI. I hate the reserve/future Contracts that the NFL gives to players that are not going to see a dime of that money unless they actually make the 53-man roster. These players would be better off improving their skills by actually playing games, than signing a contract they will never see. Congratulations, You have to be playing in week 1 to see a dime of the $500,000 contract you just signed.
