rd. 1 Johnson............... rd. 2 neither... I would go pass rusher, but for the sake of your debate, my pick would be hunter...............rd. 3 if Washington is there, I think you have to take him, otherwise it's bell

 

Jones, Jones... definitely not Washington. I need to do more research on Patton, but I guess Patton.

 

Most of those options suck.

Johnson could be good...but I dont see the position as much of a need.

Jarvis Jones could be good...as long as his medical stuff doesnt catch up to him too quick.

The rest...BLAH. No thanks!

Barrett Jones...should be solid...but again I dont see the position in need of that high of a pick

where was the poor work ethic report? only reason i ask is because the georgia staff praised his work ethic on and off the field

 

there is a good article on jones in the oct 15th issue of espn magazine. i dont think his work ethic will be a problem​

 

I agree we won't be taking a tackle early, but as young and promising as our OL is, it's razor thin. Zero depth. And packed with injury prone guys. I know we just signed Foster, but Jones can play all five positions (and play them well, Trai Essex!) and should be a great pro, especially inside. The 2nd round might be a little high, but he could be depth and competition this year, and if he looks good enough, we could cut Foster's deal short and roll with Jones, or just keep the both of them. I was a big supporter of drafting Jones before we signed Foster. Now I agree the 2nd looks too high, but in the 3rd I'd snap him up, and in the 2nd I wouldn't argue, so long as they gave him a real shot to start.

 

snack i agree completely. thats what i was saying this afternoon. i want jarvis, barrett, and washington. i think they all will see playing time this year if not start. i can see jones starting at lg this year
