I think I would feel OK with Rudolph under center for 2025, take Dart if he falls to the second or third, and get “the guy” (or try to) in 2026. Stockpile comp picks and use them to trade up if it is felt that a strong enough candidate is on the board. Would the Steelers really win many more games with Errant vs. with Rudolph? All he would do, even if he was the Errant of old, is get you a worse draft position and cost a whole lot more while doing it.

I don't care even a little bit about draft position in 2026. Do what we can to improve now. I'm ok with MR starting this season. I'm also ok with drafting a QB at #21. No ticket, no lotto.
