Browns sign Russ, Kenny has a fit. Browns trade him to Pitt.

I imagine this in an old fashioned soap opera announcer’s voice: “Will Kenny Pickett demand a trade for the SECOND time after his team signs Russell Wilson? Tune in tomorrow for another exciting episode of….AS THE STOMACH TURNS”

I am positive Coach Tomlin is thoroughly searching for that perfect non-passing QB.

Didn't he leave here without a deal last year?

Yep, and now he is on his way to Giants, just like he did after visiting us.

How often does a player actually leave with a contract

These meetings aren’t meant to negotiate a contract agents do that if there is still interest after the player meeting

These meetings aren’t meant for coaches to see if player expectations and team expectations match

Fairly common. Agents do all the work, if you are going to the facility it’s usually to sign a deal. These aren’t rookies, they are known commodities.

I think in cases like these old vets there is more of a desire by player and team to discuss what the expectations are of each and how they would fit.

Wilson following Pickett to the Browns would be the funniest thing ever.

Wait, y'all are crying if wilson didn't sign with us?

Dude was an ok Qb. But he's not a must have. So the free agent QB this year were meh. Not a single one was dramatically better than the others.

Well your second paragraph is exactly what I said.

Regarding the first part a contract these days can be done by e signature.

Agents have lots of clients they can’t show up everywhere on anmaybe interview.

This will not surprise me one bit. Nothing at this point that the Steelers do is surprising anymore.
I swear one man is running the Pirates, Pens and Steelers

If we do sign Russ, I hope it is only 2 yrs at a good price but if I was him not sure if I would come back at a decent price.
Plus, him and AS don’t see eye to eye. Russ might have to retire as just like I said last yr noone wants him.
