So when you say trade down for picks there isn’t much value there

 

With them getting Metcalf it's all but guaranteed they will draft DL in the first round.

 

Another third round pick would work since they don't have a second.

 

DL first pick… hopefully Grant… no to the no on a rb in first rd

draft QB.

draft DT.

draft CB or safety.

draft G.

win super bowl.

On paper this looks good... but it's gonna take several successful drafts and FA signings in the next 3 years to be a contender again in the AFC. In 2026... Steelers will need to draft a QB in the first round and hopefully hire a new head coach.

 

Which only deletes the available talent making us worse in the long run

 

I just think the DL in this draft is getting to hyped up ..I don't think the position is near as strong as everyone is saying..One thing to consider is just how bad is the QB class ? A horrible QB class could lead to holding the ball longer stepping into trouble giving up strip sacks and things of that nature all making the DL class look better than what it actually is...I actually think it's the year of the WR lots of speed with good hands that are also good route runners...

GP may be gone so if a top tier talent at WR is there I hope they take him...My guy is still Egbuka I just have a feeling he is going to be elite ...

sign Rodgers....tell him to take a flying leap, we are moving forward with someone that WANTS to be here...Russell.

draft an OT....NOT in the first round.

draft QB....absolutely NOT in the first round.

draft DT....first round selection.

draft CB or safety....at least one of these.

draft G....maybe late in the draft.

win super bowl....finish the season at 9-8 and lose in the first round...FIRE Tomlin!!

Agree with this... gotta have best DT available in round 1. No QB or OT in the first round.

 

Trading down 5-7 spots isn't making the team worse.
