    There in lies the problem.

Given how the team knew Big Ben's best days were coming to a close, why not prepare beforehand while also doing what was necessary to go all in?! I don't think hiring a QB Coach during the years 2015-2018 would have been a bad idea. Given how Tomlin likes his Coachinf Staffs small, one would think that having a dedicated QB Coach would be a benefit to a young QB. Alas, this simply wasn't the case.

So, I see 4 top 5 picks, a second, and an aberration. It took Geno 4 teams before he developed, Darnold 3, and Baker how many? In the time he's been here, the Steelers have 1 1st round qb (who should have been a third), one 3rd round (Rudolph), and a few 5ths and 7ths.

I said Tier Two QBs. Where a player is drafted has nothing to do with their skill level and performance. The aforementioned are not in the Tier One of QBs in the League; sans Kyler depending on what ones definition is.

Tier One QBs in the NFL should be obvious; Lamar, Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow.

Don't think it takes a whole lot of ability to turn a top 5 draft pick into a Tier 2 qb. Try doing that with a 5th rounder, which is where most of our drafted qbs came from.

I wouldn't mind rogers if we got Dart, but without a second it seems unlikely unless we take Dart.in the first,

Shough is another name I've thrown out there but a Rogers, Shough, Thompson QB room just doesn't really have a lot of excitement about it... maybe, sort of be OK,

Joe Milton is a name I've heard too, this guy is not bad, I remember one game he came in for the patriots and played great, completed like 10 passes in a row, looked very good,

better record than fields before he was released into free agency. 3-1 in his last 4 games. i'd look to him or rush or kyle allen along with the draft pick. if it comes down to it why not? put the tools around them and i think they could be pretty decent. we have the wr's in place. we have decent TE's. one good RB. add to the line and protect them. draft. add to the defense and see where the chips may fall. none of these guys would break the bank.

It’s way more than 6 games

You and I saw 6 games

The Steelers saw OTAs Camp Practice every day Preseason and 6 games

    They saw enough

I saw enough in 6 games

Brock Purdy is the best example I can give. That said, he is an outlier on many fronts; chief among them that is relevant to the topic is both the HC and the Coaching Staff around him.

Long story short?! A QB is only as good as the entire Organization around him. Very seldom do QBs like a Peyton Manning or an Andrew Luck come around.

My brother was reading somewhere that the Rogers deal is already pretty much done. They just can't announce anything for a few days. He also heard a rumor of 90 million on a 2-year with 40 million guaranteed.

Not sure where he read it, but he seems to see a lot of things that don't pop up for me. Might be rumor or wishful thinking or nightmare thinking.....lol .... But, I guess we shall see here within a couple days

Rodgers is 3 inches taller than Wilson

I’d prefer to have 3 more inches

Harder to use public facilities when it’s 3 inches longer. Trust me.

It would have to be in the 1st, which means they missed some great changes to fill CB and other roster holes in FA so far.

    I feel the same way.

Question is... do the Steelers FO?! Time will tell.

For me, dream BPA is Will Johnson from Michigan. Very, very unlikely but one never knows.

I would pay money to sit in a bar getting drunk and listening to AB and Rodgers having a conversation on life

This is probably regarding the Jets releasing him with a June 1st designation. He can't officially be released until tomorrow.
