I think we need JK Dobbins to go with Warren

I've been a proponent of this idea. Either him or Chubb. That said, both of those guys obviously have injury histories so they have to draft a RB as well.

Hell, at the rate they're going they'll have enough money to sign them both and bring in a few others and let them all fight it out for RB3 in camp.

Why do we need either of the injury prone RBs to back up Warren? Draft a RB. There’s plenty of good ones in this draft

You don't. The RB3 is the spot for fliers. But it also gives you a safety net so you don't have to reach if the board falls strangely on draft day.

If we had done anything AT ALL in Free Agency, we could've had a DL monster, there were many available, and drafted Jeanty. Now, it is almost certain they go DL in round 1. No round 2 pick now.

With the amount of good DL in the draft Im sure that was always the route they were going to go.

I’m more surprised they didnt go after a top CB.

This x 1,000. And I wanted Steelers to draft Dobbins instead of Claypool in '20. Hindsight is 20/20. After witnessing Dobbins' injury history... no thanks.

We need a durable, powerful RB in the draft to compliment Warren.

I'm not understanding what others aren't getting about the RB3 position.

Don't we already have a RB3 in Gainwell from Eagles? Steelers need a RB1.

We do now. I was supporting the idea of bringing in a Dobbins or Chubb for a look before they signed him. But it was under the presumption that they would still be drafting a RB as well.

Obviously Gainwell has less injury risk, and has returned some experience returning kicks, so they got some utility with his signing.

Well, they really need more than one DL

After signing Gainwell no to Dobbins, find a RB in the 4th rd or later.

you have to find out if lee can play. you did draft him. since we only use two D-Lineman most of the time, i think one quality guy will fit the bill this year. lee, lowry, adams, cam, benton, rookie and possibly another late round guy should be enough. slade was pretty decent in college as well. you have to see if these guys fit. free agency isn't over yet either.

No way. Gotta trade back a bit for an extra pick or so and take advantage of the cheap rookie deal RBs Rd 2-4
