Steelers sign Darius Slay, CB

A retread CB was one of the best to play for the Steelers in the last two decades.

 

Very disappointed we didn't get one of the top 3-4 corners, or even Hobbs. There is no way Slay is enough. He's Jackson 2.0. Not even a DT yet! I expected a lot more from the first day. The Metcalf trade was spot on, and a surprise trade for sure, but squat today. Not impressed with Slay at all. There WERE great young CB's at fair prices, and we got blanked. Best one left is Murphy, but thought I saw where he signed?

 

That play was like something from a movie script...... Loved it.

 

haden was only 28 when he signed with us.

 

Yep. I had no beef with bringing Haden aboard. 33/34 is starting to push it.
