I'm just curious if anyone has tried this challenge at a baseball game, and how did it go?

I think I could do either the 9 Hotdogs or the 9 Beers. But I'm not sure about both.

    Yeah, once in college.:bowdown::facepalm:

    Seriously, that would be cool.
I think I could get pretty damn close if not complete it.
More worried about the whole 9 inning thing

When I was in college the beers came in cups. Now they are 20oz tall boy cans. I wouldn't necessarily WANT to complete that challenge.

7th inning stretch would be to relieve my stretched bladder and other things. Lol

At Petco park that would cost 8.00 ea. for the dogs and 15.00 ea. for crappy Budweiser. $207.00 + tax. Why would anyone do that?

That’s what I was thinking. Drop a couple hundred on hotdogs and crappy beer that you’ll probably end up throwing up? Hard pass

The basic "Friar frank" from the concession stand is 8.00 and on par with the ones you get from a gas station or 7-11. They also have stands that sell Sonoran style. Giant dogs with everything including beans. I can't find the price online but, I remember a couple of years ago, they were 18.00. They would feed 2-3 people so, you wouldn't want one of those every inning! Especially if the game goes beyond 9 innings!

This challenge had to be dreamed up by someone who profits from concessions

Many years ago I would make business trips to Rochester NY and they had a minor league team.

For $10 you got a beer a hot dog and a seat behind home plate

you are a man of distinguished tastes. I hadn't thought of the cost. I'm still thinking in terms of 60's pricing when I was a kid. Parents would hand me 5 bucks and send me to the game on the bus!

    Challenge accepted!!!

Although right now I attend more little league games than Pro games watching my nephews play ball. :)

I love minor league games for their crazy "In Game" beer promotions. You got to love the BEER BATTER!!!!!

I had to use my paper route money since we were poor. Thankfully the left field bleachers at Forbes were 1.00 admission. A lot of times the older folks would buy me a .25 cents hot dog.

No thanks for me. Even if I could pull if off, I imagine I'd feel pretty miserable for a long time afterward just from having all of that in my stomach.

I went to a ton of games at Forbes Fiels You remember the buses you could take to the game? The buses would drop you off and then wait for you at the end of the game. What a great time to be a kid
