Do QBs really win Championships or are DT's winning championships?

as the lions and even philly showed, the rest of the team can make the qb better. not that they aren't good qbs but the team around them are equally good. run game, wr's, defense and not just the front. o-line. that was KC's downfall. the two super bowls they lost had a lot to do with the o-lines.

So by your logic, I'm suggesting that you need to build your team around a STUD Defensive Tackle. Because they're winning Championships. They've tried building around Josh Allen, Joe Burrows, Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, Justin Herbert, Derick Henry and every other stud player. And those guys aren't winning. But the top Defensive Tackles are winning titles. So why not build around that one player that can disrupt an offensive's entire game plan. And not for nothing but the Giants won because of Strahan and building a defensive line around him. Similar to what I'm suggesting.

Are you sure about that? KC has a great offensive line and the Eagles DL dominated.
Patriots had a great offensive line and the Giants DL dominated in the Superbowl with Michael Strahan and company.
Rams had the greatest show on turf and their Offensive line was great but the Pats DL dominated with Richard Seymour and Willie McGinest.

I'm not sure I agree with your Rock, Paper, Scissors analogy although I like the thought process.

The Eagles had exceptional complete team momentum, something I have not seen in a long while. They had the best defense and O-line. Tough to draw conclusions from this one season.

On your list, almost all were lead by elite QB`s. Eagles found a way in 2017.

I think an exceptional defense lowers the bar for the elite QB requirement a notch, but those defenses don`t come along very often. Has to be a complete defense, not just one exceptional guy to make the deference. But yeah, must have a top tier guy in middle of the D line.

Chiefs didnt have a good Oline this season and wouldnt say the Pats Oline was better than the Giants Dline but I think my overall point still remains.

How about 2005 Steelers? Roethlisberger with one of the worst ratings for a SB QB but the defense saved his bacon.

Complete teams win Superbowls, or need i point out that outside of the 2017 eagles,Eagles, each 9f those teams also fielded an elite QB

It has been stated thruout the year, that Philly
had possibly the most talented ROSTER in the entire league.
All 3 facets of the game must be strong for winning championships.
Football is the ultimate team game. Teams win championships. And
if you're not on board, as we are with certain positions, DB's, DL, WR
you must purge these groups and get better more impactful players.
