Your right, but he wore them late in his career, when he got old and needed help gripping the football in cold weather.

The Steelers played in the Browns’ Super Bowl that year.

Pickett certainly played a significant role in his demise as Steelers QB.

only occasionally, in really bad weather.

In normal conditions 95 percent of Qb’s dont wear gloves. Maybe KP wears them to improve his grip because his hand structure is not right.

Can we move on from Pickett? Steelers have bungled several 1st round draft picks since 2013. Unfortunately, QB had to be added to the list.

I thought it was to help him grip it because he has small hands? It's not that the structure isn't right, they're just too small to control the ball properly so he had to have gloves to help.

i dont know this for sure but he may be double jointed. When your double jointed the distance between the thumb and the pinky finger is shorter because one cant spread the fingers out (how they measure hand size). So thats a structure problem. Just a guess, i dont know for sure. i thought i saw a picture of his hand and it looked double jointed.

just a discussion, like Heinz said, whether he’ll have a sucessful career or not the guy is gone, and hes not coming back

Warner broke his thumb while with the Rams and he could not grip a football well after that. He fumbled like 7 times in a game and Martz benched him. His wife, Brenda, even called into a St. Louis sports station complaining about the fans bashing him, because they didn't understand he was playing hurt. If he had discovered that the gloves helped him grip the football sooner, he may have still been in St. Louis. Thankfully, LeBeau's pressure got to Warner late in the Super 43 game.

I’ll never figure out why people care about players that leave the Steelers. Especially the ones that most people wanted gone.

It’s a slow time of the year

Did I ever tell you about the football I have in my basement signed by Plaxico Burress

I’ll see that and raise you one signed/framed photo of Leveon Bell (had bought it years and years ago at a fundraising dinner).

He also wore them when he was gathering carts in the winter for the supermarket he worked at.

Not a man cave yet but I’m working on it

First I built the workshop so I could build the other parts

Then I built the wine cellar

    Prioritizing :smiley1:

I don't know what i've been told, a QB with small hands ain't got no soul...

Bags Tomlin might move a checker and want to draft Milroe :lolol:

I have a football signed by Dick Arndt, who was a Steeler DT back in the 1960's. He was the guest speaker at our football banquet and I took a football for him to sign. Any other old timers remember him?

Draft Milroe, that is what I am afraid of.

At least Kenny Picket had the common sense to wear 2 gloves to help him with his little hands. Milroe is going to be a disaster every time it rains, or for those late December games in the snow with his little hands and no gloves.
