I'll say this, I'd much rather use medical marijuana than any prescribed pain killer. Not surprised to see so many former players in that business.

This is probably taking the conversation in the wrong direction, but I've dabbled with the flower and while enjoyable, I can't see how it would do much of anything for pain. IMO

And funk pain killers, hate em, but they are necessary in circumstances.

They might as well look up Leveon Bell and Lagarette Blount as potential investors!

Somehow a marijuana dispensary next door to a business named Laser Storm seems like one of nature's perfect pairings.

Not the same as flower you can buy on the corner, but there are controlled studies showing the potential benefit of prescription cannabinoids for pain associated with certain conditions (cancer, nerve, joint).

Dulling nerves and receptors in the brain will alleviate pain symptoms. Alcohol does it as well. It's been shown that drunk people don't feel cold as much.

I think there are some benefits with herbal remedies, whatever the plant. Synthetic drugs are mimics of the properties of plants after all. It's not an all or none situation though. It never is. There are risks as well as benefits and you just have to weigh each situation. Allergy meds vs local honey? What works better for you.

While medical MJ is of higher potency than the "corner", it isn't the equivalent of Motrin to Oxycontin. LOL

But again, this is just a personal opinion, I'm sure there are symptoms that it gives people relief from.

TBH I think a lot of NFL players would get into the medicinal marijuana game. It makes sense as a far superior option to painkillers (opioids) that are crazy addictive, while marijuana can be a non-addictive pain management device that goes a long way. These are guys that spent years managing pain associated with their job and if this was something they used to good result, then they have a quality testimonial to share.

It makes sense from a business perspective as opening a distributor would be just a financial cost up front, and require minimal to zero knowledge on growing, or producing, etc. He likely has the money to invest and would just be purchasing from a bevy of producers and reselling the products in a marked-up fashion. Besides, who wouldn't want to buy from a former NFL player (local hero of sorts)? I see this a ton in Columbus with former Buckeye players. Start a business with up front money, leverage your name and image in a city where you're revered. Easy money. Not a bad plan IMO.

They already have investments in the industry. Saw an article awhile back about them talking on a podcast about it.

I like for fun and pain relief, what a plant, it's a gift and you can grow it on your own, although purchasing pre rolls is damn convenient.

No chemicals needed, just need soil, water, sunlight and a seed.

    Freedom!
