Michigan DL Kenneth Grant

The Steelers might need to consider drafting Grant he's 6'3 340lbs.

 

He has been on my radar since the last college football season.

Wouldn't mind him honestly.

 

I'd have no problem with that pick.

 

IDL or WR in Round 1.

 

I've been saying I like this kid for a while now. I think he would be a good fit for us on the inside. It would allow us to move Benton to Ogunjobi's spot (and Benton has looked pretty good to end the season this year imo). It gives us an opportunity to get bigger and younger up front. I would say that WR, RB, and maybe CB depending on what we do in FA are probably bigger needs... but this is definitely a position we could potentially use a round 1 pick on. If Grant is who we like, I would be a fan.

 

Could see this guy in the middle. Mid round guy. Fits the profile they like, 6'6"/310.

 

I have no problem with Grant in the first. The only person who has a good chance of being there who I would prefer is Shavon Revel, and only because the DT class is incredibly deep this year, and we need another corner badly.

 

If by some miracle Grant falls to 21, then you absolutely have to take him

 

I saw one mock that had Grant available at #21 but the Steelers passed on him to take WR Matthew Golden from Texas. I wouldn't be very happy if that's how it plays out.

 

Might get your wish... missing combine due to injury. I figured he'd test well and make it inside the top 20. With that off the table, I can easily see him being available at 21.

 

Should be interesting to see who Steelers target in Free agency, we may get a better understanding
of draft possibilities?
