Dexter/ yet again

Any of you enjoy Dexter? First we had original Dexter. Then Dex had a son. Dexter: New Blood. One season of that.

Now we have Dexter: Original Sin. First episode was pretty good. They did a great job of making every character a lot younger. (young Deb really hot) Guy playing young Dex is good.

Not to be outdone, come summer 2025 we will have Dexter: Resurrection. If you follow series Dexter's son shot him in New Blood. Guessing it didn't kill him cause he is coming back.

That's interesting b/c the director of that show said he is absolutely dead and not coming back. I assumed it would just continue with Harrison as the main character.

I haven't watched any of the new show. I feel like it would be hard to watch without Michael Hall as Dexter. I know it's based on books, but I've only seen the show, so for me, he IS Dexter.

 

Michael Hall is the voice in Original Sin and I believe he is the coming back in 2025.

 

He is the voice in his head....of the young Dexter.

 

Haven't watched it yet, but I will. I got so much I'm trying to catch up on.

 

This new younger Dexter is same format with younger faces. I do dig the young Deb and Christian Slater does good job as Harry.

 

I liked the original Dexter series. The ending was a bit weird, but the series was very good. I have no intention to revisit it though. I'm good.

Must admit I'm digging the young Dexter. Watching the original Dexter, I'd tape it and when ready to watch I'd fast forward the opening credits but I've been watching this opening. Kind of cool how he mimics original. Love that snarky smile at the end.

 

Episode 10 of Dexter: Original Sin almost had me feeling bad for Brian at the start.

 

Did you catch who LaGuerta was shaggin?

 

Missed it but I sure the hell wouldn't mind.
