Steelers bring back Gerald Alexander as DB coach

    Wonder if this means we lost Grady Brown or he is getting a promotion. Hopefully the later.

    Alexander being back is good though.

    that would be 3 DB coaches, plus austin that was the former DB coach and tomlin that was a DB coach and current DB coach and DC. so 5 DB coaches essentially. it must take a lot of coaches to keep JPJ from grabbing. :smiley1::cool:

    Maybe Tomlin has decided to finally start planting a coaching tree. If Tomlin would take a more CEO approach, the Steelers might actually improve.

    I was wondering the utility of going to the Raiders for a cooch. So as I further perused this gentleman I found almost nothing. However knowing your character I will welcome him with open arms!!!

    brown and midget are supposed to be really good as well. it almost looks like we are getting guys in to coach specific positions. safety, CB and slot corner. maybe MT will keep his hands out of it. :lolol::roflmao: i know that made me laugh too. :cool:

    Communication problems have been an ongoing theme for their defense, that goes higher up than Grady.

    He is thought to be an up and coming coach, has already drawn one DC interview. An unknown position coach wouldn’t get that attention without being thought highly of around the league.

    Maybe Brown wasn't kept around was because the secondary had communication issues all of last season.
