Chip Kelly has found success running college style offenses. He wasn’t good in Philly or San Fran. In fact, as Philly gave Chip more autonomy over draft and personnel decisions, they got even worse. Look at some of the players he jettisoned in the process.

Are you seeing them? His offense got a 30-plus touchdown season from Ryan Tannehill. We have seen him for one season with a pair of rejects at quarterback, only one good wide receiver, and an injury-ravaged offensive line and folks here want to bail.

I agree. AS was the least of our problems. Our personnel and the lack of taking risks when needed were truly the biggest downfall.

Wilson used the MOF more than they have in recent years.

Maybe give it a little time. It's not like he had a ton to work with in 2024, I'm not sure he is going to have a lot to work with in 25 either.

    I agree with you.

There is a lot that goes into a team. Changes don't generally happen overnight. If we get rid of everyone that doesn't make a huge turnaround on a single season, we will have a long strong of single season coaches.

There are always exceptions. There are those coaches that can get the most with the least in an incredibly short time. But that is not the normal person. It would be nice to get one of those, but realistically we are not going to. We can't turn on everybody without giving them a real chance to make a difference.

As a new coach, he probably didn't have a big say in what personnel he got for this season. You have to give a guy a chance that lasts more than one season unless he's just a complete buffoon. As fans, we obviously won't instant success. But the reality is that we are going to have to build to it.

He also had Derrick Henry, that type of back takes a lot of pressure off the QB and basically, no, automatically is a built in play action game.

Henry went over 1,000 yards once in his first three NFL seasons, and that was only 1,059 in his third year. He then had arguably the two best seasons of his career in 2019 and 2020, which were also the first two years that Smith was the Titans' offensive coordinator.
