It would be nice to get him out of the division ;).

Nah, even the Browns aren't that dumb to trade him within the division.

Turning 30 with $60M-$70M still owed? 'How fast can this get traded'? That would be my response.

I think he would get ~$20m/year for the next 2 years from the new team.

Cleveland would eat the rest. They could spread the dead money across 2025 ($14.8 million) and 2026 ($21.5 million) post June 1, but then they cannot get a pick in this draft.

He’ll probably go to eagles as they get ready to repeat.

I remember talking about this event happening for over two years now and got rebuffed because of it. I personally am not surprised by any of these developments. Myles wants to win; simple as that.

The question now becomes which team is willing to trade for him?! Washington and Chicago both come to mind but as far as Super Bowl Caliber teams?! Only Detriot comes to mind but they need to resign a lot of people.

Not a lot of options for Myles to choose from; even worse for Andrew Berry.

Myles Garrett's cap hit for Cleveland this year is $19.7 million. Because of his original contract and restructures, however, if he is traded his pre-June 1 his cap hit becomes $36.2 million. His contract currently contains void years up to 2029.

Washington made the NFCCG with a pretty mediocre defense. They have a franchise QB at the beginning of his rookie contract. That could be a SB team soon. I don’t know their cap situation specifically, but it seems like a fit to me.

Bills were mentioned on the radio today, that makes some sense to me. They could sellout to try to get over the hump.

Commanders have the third most cap space available, almost $69 million after everything is taken into consideration

    They might have to.

At this point, Buffalo is outta options. That said, they will have to create a lot of room to do so. Mind you, not just this year but also in the years after.

So the Browns are faced with two choices- either they have to trade Garrett at well below market value in exchange for the other team taking on that God awful contract, or spend another couple of years in cap hell because of that God awful contract.

Does this mean he gets an additional $17M if the Browns trade him? I would ask for a trade too.
