George Pickens future with the Steelers

I would be shocked if they signed Higgins, the Steelers don't guarantee money to free agents except in the first year of the contract.

 

I am falling under the impression that Kirk will be a cap casualty himself. With the arrival of Brian Thomas Jr., I doubt that the Jaguars will keep Kirk for much longer.

 

As am I.


As I said though, this is a new regime so who knows?! Again though, I am not holding my breath on Higgins donning the Black 'n' Gold.

I wonder how Noll would handle a guy like George. I know in 69 WR Roy Jefferson was the best player on that lousy team and Noll didnt hesitate to get rid of him because he was a diva.

 

He’s young maybe he’ll grow out of his baby phase. We NEED receivers especially good ones. Plus look at how the team performed the last 5 games. I would of been pissed as well.

I was liking the rumors on him coming here early last year. But after the chemistry he showed with Nix, I think the price would be significantly higher now.

 

True. On the flip side he’s coming up to contract renewal and they have a lot of younger WRs…. So they may be tempted to shift him now before the big payday.
