Blowouts

As disappointing as our game was, we certainly were not the only fan base to be fed up. The Vikings just got shellacked, the Pack ain’t back and the Chargers definitely sh!t the bed. I think when we consider what the team should do going forward, we probably need to remember we are not on an island. Many coaches heads could be called for including the Bengals and Browns coaches. We definitely have to make changes, but if Tomlin stays, which it sounds like he will, we will have to move forward next year.

 

The Steelers have to make changes. This is ridiculous. The same results for the past 8 years. They either miss the playoffs (2018, 2019, 2022) or they can't win a playoff game (2017, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024).

 

Outscored 73-0 in the first quarter last 6 playoff games. Pathetic doesn’t accurately describe it.

 

I don’t think we can fix it till we hit rock bottom in the draft. All the teams with success had bottomed out at some point which allowed them to draft their players. In some ways, Tomlin may have overperformed with teams that were not even remotely a Super Bowl team. Colbert has some culpability in this as well. I’d be much more upset if I was a Vikings fan and watch them at 14-3 get crushed like they did by the Rams. I would also be pissed if I was a Bengals fan, they have a QB who performed very well this year and didn’t even make the show.

Burrow behind our OL wouldn't be much better than Wilson or Fields. At least the Bengals have a decent OL.

Over the years there have been several trolls that have put me on ignore. It’s like a safe rock for them to crawl under.

I have one mystery guest on ignore but that was because he was getting weird and PMing me just to get the last word in. I thought that was getting creepy.

Descent?? Burrows was sacked like 11 times their last two games of the season. Both teams allowed the same number of sacks, but Burrows goes through his progressions faster and better than Wilson, not to mention, he has way better weapons to work with, than us.

get out of the run first mentality---get out of the 3-4---change schematics change philosophy's change it up ..did we see any no huddle much..Why not, it's a really good thing to do..instead of letting play clock always run to 1 second..that's ok to do in 4th quarter ---but the whole game..Look Jim Kelly used that< NO HUDDLE> to much success.even the bengals used it some--we just need something different and exciting not the same old backwards sh--t we do---- throwing backwards, running backwards, STOP ---STOP ---STOP -the BS.
