When the Steelers last won the SB I remember AR2 going off on a rant about how great that we could elect a black president, I knew then AR2 led with his heart and could not see clearly.

Freaking Rooney, no matter how awful a coach is, they rarely get canned until the contract runs out. Sucks. Could be a $500k a year contract and Rooney still wouldn't cough that up to try and improve. Needs to see the big picture but he MUST be a accountant grad who can't get past any ONE line on the ledger.

 

I'd much rather be a 3 win, 6 win, 9 win, 12 win team and repeat if it meant a Super Bowl win once every 8 or 9 seasons than 9, 10, 11 win team that is a laughingstock in the wild-card round every other year they make the playoffs.

I would say a guy who is known more or less because of who his dad was, and not because of his own effort in decision-making, combined with entitlement is not a cutthroat businessman. A guy who has the last name of the rule won’t make the call. Tomlin won’t walk, and who are you going to get that’s better? Someone tougher. Not a guy whose wife almost took him out of Pittsburgh because it was not a center for fashion. You have a bunch of pussies running this ship

 

Its crazy we have been outscored 63-0 in the first quarter of our last 5 playoff games, the half time scores are just as bad and we were shut out for the first time in the first half of a playoff game in our history. With all that Tomlin has nothing to worry about because he has an extension in hand. I truly wonder if he didn't would Rooney move on and I don't think so which is sad. I really wonder why after saying he wanted to see play off wins that Rooney jumped the gun and extended him before Tomlin provided that win!
