Yep. You have to ask, 'why do so many players want to play for Mike Tomlin?'. It's not because he has a winning culture. It's not because of all the championships he's had. It's not because they've had great coaches (or we would be talking about the Mike Tomlin coaching tree in a very positive light). The only reason that I can think of is that players enjoy working with him. Why would they think that? My guess is that he fosters a culture of being one of the guys. If that's so, sometimes it'll work, but for the success of the team it would be better to be a leader instead of one of the guys.

Praise them when they do well, coach them to do better when they're not up to par, and let them go when they prove that they will not come up to the standard whether that be physically, mentally or skill-wise. I don't think that that is happening or we would not have seen the string of discipline problems with the Steelers. Especially within the wide receiver room.

Pickens was asked after the game if he thinks the offense will be better going forward and he said NO!!!! He’s so right and I know incredibly frustrated. We’ll be lucky to keep him when he becomes a free agent.

All you have to know about Cowher is he won a SB as soon as he got a QB. If he stuck around I bet you he wins a couple more.

Cowher is the example of how a team can be competitive without a QB and not just in the regular season.

Clean house, get younger faster players ,stronger linemen or fatter ,to block and please get a QB who can see over the line--- throw faster run more. Just get rid of Watt he is done Minkah is done Work with JPJ---- better learn how to cover better--- stay close to wr--- not give 80 yard cushions. best learn how to tackle big strong runners to, and QBS---- this team is a f-ng disaster and:popcorn: won't help it. Let's go Pens:ACK!: Lets go :puking2:Pirates then back to our wonderful non-losing season Steelers ----Mission accomplished Right--- Mike.

Boy that is so true. I remember the rub on Cowher back in the day was he played to not lose. What I would not give to have someone like Cowher back running this team. Tomlin is a joke. They kept showing his face last night and he looked like he was suffering internally in a big way lol

I dont know if it was from watching tendencies on film or what but LJ did a master class on the bait and switch RPO last night. I think there was only one solid hit on him but he looked like Jayden Daniels in in LSU days last night where the entire D had no answer for him.

I dont know that even if they had a scheme to spy like Queen on him...that the execution obviously was so poor that it didnt matter. Ugh...frustrated replaying those runs he had last night. Maybe there were holds that helped but still.

Isn't watching any sport as a fan truly just about entertainment?

It was also a different league back then too more about running the ball and playing defense.

The Ravens kicked the Steelers' asses last night by running the ball and playing defense. They are serious contenders for the Super Bowl with that style, as are the Eagles. You can win that way if you have the horses up. The Steelers do not.

Both the Ravens and Eagles have the ability to win in other ways when that approach isn’t working. A team completely dependent on a ground game and great defense isn’t going to do much in this NFL.

The Ravens and Eagles both have young franchise QBs and better OL.

His ego won't let him accept what he knows to be true - the league has poassed him by.

Who takes the ball to start when the crowd is pumped up and has a stale offense.

Who doesn't go for it on 4th and an inch.

Coward Tomlin... the most over rated coach of all time.

Losers of 5 straight to end the season....
