Bengals are in the playoffs

I don't like Burrow but I believe the Broncos will lose their last 2 with the Bengals winning their last 3. I also believe the Bengals will face the Bills in the AFC Championship game.

Things that make you go hmmmmm Bengals D is flat out terrible. To get to the AFCCG Burrow will have to put up huge numbers. Problem with your scenario is that the last Bengal game could be very important to our team.

I would trade our next 2-3 1st round picks for Joe Burrow. And be satisfied it was the right move whatever happened.

 

Right now the AFC is really tough if you don't have a top notch QB.

More than likely you're going to have to beat at least two , maybe three, of Mahomes, Allen, and Lamar, not to mention Herbert or Burrow. You might beat one of those, but good luck beating two or three of those in a row with an average QB in today's NFL.

 

The NFL as a whole is tough without a Top Flight QB.

3 weeks ago the Bengals had a 2% chance of making the playoffs. I told my son I should put $10 on them winning the SB. I think that would have paid out $1,400. I wish I did that.

The AFC powerhouses Bills, Chiefs and Ravens sure don't want to see the Bengals get in. They can go into anyone else's stadium and win.

Browns play the Ravens at 4pm on Saturday, followed by our game.

 

I don't think Chiefs will play their starters against Broncos, much to the chagrin of the Dolphins and Bengals. Didn't Andy pull all his starters one year when we needed them to win to get in? I seem to remember the Chiefs almost won anyway, but their kicker missed an easy FG.

 

I wonder why they didn't move the Broncos/Chiefs to Saturday as well. The whole AFC would be sorted on the same day.

 

Better to have the Bengals not know their fate until after their game is over.

 

Meaning they will play harder if not eliminated? That's very possible.


I'm thinking the Dolphins have the easier path this week. I'm not sure the Chiefs will just give the Broncos a free pass. I know the Steelers want to eliminate the Bengals.

The Chiefs are sitting many of their key players, including Mahomes. They may not be giving the Broncos a free pass, but they are giving them a severely discounted one.
