I haven’t seen anything. At first they said it was a calf injury, then it was a knee. Since then it’s been total radio silence

From a couple of days ago

Porter is suspected to have suffered a PCL sprain, an injury that usually takes at least a couple of weeks to heal up.

Crazy part is he got injured by Henry trucking him in the shoulder/chest. Hopefully he is back for rd 1 because this secondary is dog **** right now.

As bad as the penalties are at times Porter is so important to the secondary. Hopefully he is back sooner rather than later

Might as well be the season if he can't go against the Bengals. I doubt they can even slow Burrow down without him, and a loss could drop the Steelers all the way to the No. 7 seed. That would mean another ass-kicking in Buffalo.

It really depends on what the Chargers and Broncos do tomorrow we have the tiebreaker against both so if either lose they can’t overtake us. We are in a fairly good spot to get the 5 seed either by us winning or both of them to go at least 1-1 the last 2. Bengals play the Broncos if the Broncos win have to think Cincy shows up pretty lame to that final game being eliminated. And it’s not like they can knock us out I doubt they care that much about beating us to make us a 6 seed or some dumb ****.

I disagree. I think getting a win over a division rival is exactly the sort of thing that could get the Bengals to show up for that game. What are the players saving their effort for in a situation like that? Their offseason golf game?

Higgins is banged up I doubt a guy like that plays for example. You think Chase wants to run across the middle for a ball he knows he’s getting drilled on? Well that may not be a good example with our sorry ass secondary but you get the picture.

The Bengals may protect some injured players by sitting them, but I highly doubt the Steelers will get anything but the best from the guys who play.
