Gotta say, Netflix is doing a superb job! Not many commercials. Brees, JJ and Burleson coloring are great. So are the play by play and the dude talking to Brees.

I’d take this over the crap CBS/FOX and old school TV any day.

Not sure but I think in Pittsburgh and KC you could have watched on the local CBS station instead of Netflix.

JJ and Nate, Kay Adams definitely. Manti T'eo and Griffith not so much.

I hope the NFL is happy with their 150 million from Netflix for televising two crappy games.

He presents RedZone, he’s a really good host. Covering 7 odd hours can’t be easy

I think NFL wanted the global viewership in addition to $150M and Netflix went out of their way to fan the flames of those fans.

Other than the greed of the NFL, I don't know why fans cannot purchase individual team game packages because the technology is there. YouTube is advertising the last 2 weeks of NFL Ticket for a ridiculous price of $49. It's probably because people are paying the $400+ for the season package, but are probably getting it to just watch one team for the most part.

You listed the reason, money. All the sports leagues are like this. They make watching difficult and expensive.
Thankfully us in Canada are fortunate when it comes to the NFL. We can watch every game for every team on DAZN. It costs me $100 for the entire NFL season.

I lived in Canada until 10 years ago... one thing I learned after moving to the US: if people can be gouged, they shall be gouged.

The odd part is that everyone here thinks they get better service from companies because there's competition, but what happens in reality is that all companies, I guess "legally", offer the same **** service and gouge accordingly.

I suppose people are happy being gouged similar to fans being happy with non-losing seasons.

Prices are often more competitive in the US, but one of the breaks we get up here is the ease of watching the NFL. It's probably the only break we get.

Ease of watching NFL is definitely better up there, but there are a lot of other services that are also better in Canada, but that's off topic and I feel the gaze of the Hall Monitor rotating this way from his tower in Mordor. :)
