I get it. But what most fans don't seem to get - because a lot of us carry this stuff week over week, day after day, all day - when the final whistle blows each week, these guys are just athletes. A lot of them are friends, many are former teammates. There's absolutely nothing wrong with shaking hands, hugging, smiling, laughing - regardless of the outcome of the game. Save that drama for the locker room.

When Ben and Brady would exchange jerseys after we'd (always) lose to them, did everyone think Ben was a traitor? Not really. Just two athletes showing their respect for each other.

Good sportsmanship is great, but how about doing it AFTER those guys are done with their interview. Pickens just wanted to make a spectacle.

Despite his talent I think Pickens will be surprised at how small a market there is for him. Not many coaches will want the headache of dealing with him. And no GM is going to shower him with guaranteed money given his track record.

Manufactured drama...... if Pickens hadn't shaken hands with anyone, they would've commented on that...
A lot of these writers need to be called out

This...one year left on his contract. Unbelievable talent, with potential to be one of the best WR in the league. Quits on routes, other controversies. Do we risk giving him a bag, let him sit and pout for a new contract during training camp, trade him before the draft and try and get a 2nd or 3rd? That is the choices we have, some owner may force a GM's hand (simply because 'they know best, lol), but no way I would dangle a load of guaranteed money with his inconsistencies, we have been down this road.

I’m sorry. I think Pickins is an amazing talent but nothing more than a pure cancer. Did he show great sportsmanship following the snow-bowl loss @ Cleveland, no…he instead referred to them as “not that good” This isn’t to mention other games where hes getting into fights at the end of games. However, with KC he’s suddenly humble?

Who interrupts a live post game interview to compliment 2 of the all time greats. Why not at least wait till the interviews over ? I’ll tell you why…bc selfish, entitled, crybaby George wanted to audition for a future job with a better team. I can’t stand the guy. He’s everything wrong with today’s game. Diva, selfish, entitled, lazy…

Maybe george is looking for a real coach who knows how to use his talent.

It was the latest in a series of odd decisions by Pickens, so it deserved some attention.

Rumors are Garrett Wilson my want traded in the offseason because the organization is trash.

Maybe they would be up for some kind of swap for George?

I just don't think they should invest huge money into GP. His antics have been well documented.

I would invest in Wilson though, and he still has his 5th year option. Because of that, we might have to give NY a bit extra.

He was a first rd pick going into his 4th season. They would have a 5th year option on him.

My mistake I missed the fact you were talking about Garrett

My mind was on the 3 Wilsons on our roster now

Gotta disagree with you here, I would bet there are many teams that would love to have him. I think both him and Washington would be stars in the right offense.

George Pickens makes great contested catches and has incredible body control adjusting to the ball. He rarely gets good separation that could be his route running or a simplistic passing attack.
His lack of discipline and lack of effort when his fragile feelings are hurt is ridiculous. He will never be a great receiver he will be what he is a talented WR who makes great catches but goes off the rails and flat out quits.

I hope I am wrong and George gets some counselling or a sports phycologist that can straighten him out.

At least we got a few great yrs out of AB before Burfict broke his brain with the earhole shot to his head.
