I dont remember this much negativity after we lost hines and farrior and smith. Those guys r hall of fame worthy. We lose a couple of bench players, a diva wr who didnt want to be here and a older lb who has lost multiple steps. Now all the sudden every thread on here has someone saying we are not winning 4 games and the front office are a bunch of idiots. What is going on? I love it that we have a place to vent but come on guys. I will put money on it right now that we win division next year. I am banking on us staying healthy i know. If we do we r class of the division. If we stayed healthy last year, ravens dont have a title. I wish someone would explain to me why all of the sudden this roster is incapable of winning

It's the same crap after we lose. We suck, not winning anymore games, fire Tomlin, fire DL, trade Ben, blah blah blah. There is well thought out venting and complete moronic venting, lot of the later going on right now.

It was pretty bad. There were quite a few 'I'm so mad at the Steelers for getting rid of X', and 'we'll be lucky if we finish ... next season' posts.
    Winning cures everything...

What's confusing is this: we finally got rid of THE problem (Bruce Arians) and we STILL missed the playoffs while Arians received the NFL Coach of the Year award.

    It doesn't make sense!!

it's nice to think it's going to be alright i'm not really worried about the defense or the players we lost on defense. gay was a good addition for what we need him for.

my major concern is the offensive production thats gone and how we are going to replace it. thats where we have added nothing and may lose more. i'm not saying the guys that left didn't deserve to leave either, just that we have nobody in place that has produced that type of playmaking to make up for who left. TD scorers.

we have to hit on some rookies that can get on the field quickly. alot of things will have to all come together for us to be able to score enough points next year. from an offense at the beginning of last year that looked like it was well on it's way to being stellar in camp to a real head scratcher at this point. we don't have money to do much either. i think it could be a long season next year offensively.

Nope, I don't and neither do you, which is why these "we are going to suck and only win 4 games" posts are pathetic. Get a grip guys, it's freaking March.

i don't know 1031, but it sure seems people like to categorize or split "heirs" about the coaches.

The most annoying thing is that we were 8-8 with those guys still on the roster last year! We will get a RB, a WR and an OLB, either via FA or Draft. Not sure if getting a CB (IMO, Cortez Allen is their bet).

It's not alike to what the ratbirds are experiencing right now (trim their roster that lead them to a SB).

They were 8-8 with those guys AND a ton of injuries on the O line. If Ben alone stays healthy they are easily 10-6 as they win the 1st Ravens game and the Browns game and maybe more.

I don't know why people fail to recognize injuries and the impact they have. I know that it's PC for coaches and players to not do so, but to honestly and realistically evaluate you have to take them into account.

Injuries to Ben and Ike costed us 2 or 3 games, I agree. Nevertheless, still think that people are over reacting to the FA situation.

We do have some positives to look forward to, Decastro and Adams both got some valuable game time experience last season and should solidify the right side this year: I expect to see us draft either a left tackle or left guard early in this draft to beef up our left side, most of our woes have come from poor Oline play, getting it fixed with these high draft picks will go a long way on improving the offense this season: As for the defense it was ranked 1 last season, and if the backups step it up this year it could hold that 1 ranking again this year. My biggest concern is whether Ben gets his passing acuracy back after that shoulder injury, because when he came back from that injury his acuracy wasnt there...
