If we signed DJ he'd only be buried in a deeper hole than the one that threw Mike Williams in.

Disagree. He's been a part of this team before... I know it's not Canada's offense, but he'd slot right in there as WR2. We probably won't do it though. We got rid of him for a reason, and while I'd love to see him back to help us win in the playoffs (he'd do great with Wilson and Pickens opening up the field for him)... we won't do it.

We thought Mike Williams would slot in as a #2 as well. He's hardly been seen at all.

Reid and Belichik would sign a cancer as long as he can play. Can DJ still play?

Tomlin had the Steelers sign Sutton who everyone thought was a toxic PR nightmare. Tomlin can compete with Reid and Belichik for bringing in unpopular players.

Don't rule the Steelers out on DJ. There was a reason Baltimore waited until 4PM on Friday to release DJ; this made it, so a team could not bring DJ in until Monday morning when the league office opened.

We aren't going to do it... but I don't really think he'd have a lot to catch up on. If Pickens was out for the season, I'd say we do it. But with his likely return on Christmas, I see no point in it.

After 2 losses heading into the Christmas game: DJ may just be what this team needs in the Playoffs.

There are rumors that the Chiefs might claim him if he drops. If that’s the case and we are still struggling at WR, there will be quite a few fans ripping Tomlin and Khan for not taking DJ when we had the chance. Me, I would be inclined to sign him just to stick it to the Chiefs

Yeah - I think this is one of those Belichik chess moves. Grab him just to have him off the board, then drop him at the end of the regular season. I doubt our mgmt is that savvy though.

I wonder if Houston claimed him just together playbook info

As if DJ would actually know

    But Bellichick commonly did this

It will be interesting to see if DJ is still on Houston’s roster Thursday

They’ve lost Diggs and now Dell which was a disaster for them.

I’d be surprised if they don’t hang on to him to see if he can help the team as they head in to the playoffs.
