I saw Iron Maiden open up for Judas Priest and Maiden blew them off the stage. It should have been the other way around. I do like JP though. Kiss I have no use for. Never saw the talent behind the make up. I have a very wide range of music taste but for some reason my wife is dragging me out to NYE where one of the bands is a Taylor Swift cover band. Somebody please just shoot me now.

 

As far as Russell, I'd like him to come back because I think he can still operate at a high level, but not at what he's going want.

Yeah, I would give a short "hell no" on that. Even a one-year deal at a third of that is overspending. Some players decline gradually, some hit a wall. I don't want them crippling their cap to find out when he falls off. Too many other needs. Watt isn't going to play for ever. Fitz and Cam aren't getting any younger. They would be better off re-signing Fields and Jake Allen, then maybe seeing what else is out there in FA. Someone will likely pay Wilson what or close to his number, but I don't think the Steelers should.

 

I see where you’re coming from, but I think Russ will want a multi-year deal. I also think Fields may end up getting $20-25 million a year somewhere else based on what he showed early.

I’m hoping for one more good year with Russ and then drafting the latest Manning kid and hope we catch lightning in a bottle.

Or maybe Joe Burrow gets sick of Cincy and pulls a Carson Palmer forcing his way out and comes here?

I totally disagree with that.
I thought they were coached well enough. You just can't play an ok team with WalMart players.
Too many injuries, not enough talent.
I think, unless some injuries heal up real quick.... since they clinched already, you'll probably wind up being right about the one and done.

 

Wilson isn't re-signing with the Steelers for 15 million a year.
