Yeah Russ shouldve done a better job protecting the ball on that Qb scramble. The int was horrible. But aside from Russ’s errors the pass rush was pathetic. We rushed 5 sometimes but it was a poorly designed rush with the 5th pass rusher hanging back as if to spy on LJ, no real pressure generated. I hope they move on from Austin and Meyer for that matter.

This loss is very disappointing and a terrible way to start the weekend, now we will get embarrassed by the Chiefs on Christmas :frustrated:.

CA3 and Warren stood up yesterday and should be in the teams long term plans

According to Matt Williamson the Ravens are the likely first round opponent if the Steelers win the Division

If they don’t, they will almost certainly be heading to Houston to play the Texans

They’ll have more than a punchers chance in either matchup

Don’t forget they effectively have a bye week after the Chiefs game, a chance to get guys healthy

A few weeks ago I thought they would beat the Chiefs, but with all these injuries Mahomes will probably carve them up.

I can't really fault him too much on the fumble - he took a pretty big shot. The play itself - he saw paydirt and decided to try, if he had just cut right instead of left, he would've had 6.

    The INT/P6 - ugh.

Yeah, sadly. KC looks like they have flipped the switch again, just in time for the playoffs.

His fumble was a real turning point. Steelers go up 14-7 there and it a completely different ballgame.

Good points! I hadn’t thought of that last one before. The mini-bye will help them get right before the Bengals. Hopefully they get healthy then trounce the bungles to tune up for the first round

we had the pick 6 and the fumble - but Jackson also threw a pick when Ravens were going to score. If we say - 'BUT.....if not for our turnovers we could have won....'ya gotta also factor in Jacksons pick and play it both ways.

With the Steelers being limited on offense I think Wilson's fumble was the turning point of the game, it could've been 14-7 at that point.

Fair point, but I think it's natural to comment on particular plays/turnovers that cost the Steelers regardless. It's similar to the critiques you hear if they win but didn't look particularly good in doing so.

The Ravens were the better team yesterday. Henry and Co. ran right over the defense and others made big plays when they had to. Still, I'd like to see how the game would've unfolded had Wilson not pushed it on his run and coughed it up. If the Steelers go up 14-7 there it could have been a very different game. (Then it'd be the posters on TheRavensFans.com talking about 'if only X hadn't happened...' ;) )

News for the Ravens, every team that beat the Steelers this year, lost the next week.
