I can't speak for the city of Pittsburgh but, if you and your family's Christmas is RUINED by what a sports team does or doesn't do, maybe you put too much emphasis on the wrong things.

I won’t argue. It was a dreadful mistake. As soon as he saw the defender coming he has to slide

But at the same time he hasn’t made that many bad errors over the season as a whole and the Kenny Pickett offence is still etched in my memory. At least Russ can drive down the field at times

For Russ to be effective they need a credible downfield passing game so that he can use play action and the team can run the ball. With Pickens out they don’t have that, and even when he is there they don’t have a real #2

There is too much on Russ’s shoulders at the moment IMO

That doesn’t excuse the fumble btw. No idea what he was thinking there

Always amazes me how someone can post something really stupid knowing it is really stupid and keep doing it

But there are people through no fault of there own are more than one standard deviation left of the bell curve

Tim I realize you will not understand this

This may be my fault Glenn

I responded to one of his “dribble” posts and I believe it gave him the attention he was seeking

A brutal stretch of games with insane short rest and injured players. I think it can make them stronger

There was a bus load of fat ladies at a gas station headed to Pittsburgh. They said they were headed there for a choir event, but were lost and needed directions so they could go there to sing.

Well ,I panicked and gave them directions to a road that is often foggy and leads onto a pier. I think we are safe for another week.

Most of us knew that this 3 game stretch was going to be very difficult to find one win and it sure looks like we won't. But we will have a mini bye before we play the Bengals and we really need that win to get the #5 seed. We have a chance to go on the road and beat the Texans and that means we would then probably be going to Kansas City for the next round. If we win the Texans game and play a competitive game against the Chiefs then I will be completely satisfied with this season.

Lots of teams have injuries. Kansas City didn't make excuses when Rashee Rice got hurt. You don't hear the Lions complaining about their exceptionally terrible luck. No excuses. We aren't any more or less banged up than any other team trying to win it all.

Christmas Day will be a huge benchmark. I like our chances against a team we already beat in LAC or DEN at home a lot more than having to travel to Buffalo or Houston (or even Baltimore again). We cant lose all our momentum the last month of the season and then all of the sudden turn it on in the post season. The hottest team wins it all and we look like a wounded deer limping across the field right now. We can rationalize it all we want, but the last two weeks of the season are going to show us whether or not this team has a shot at winning in the playoffs. We lose both games and we go into a road playoff game with 0 momentum and 0 confidence. We win the next two and we take the division, and go into a home playoff game with a lot of momentum and feeling pretty good about our chances. These things matter whether you want to admit it or not.

Christmas Day is going to mean a lot to our team. We can right the ship with a big win over KC and then close out the Bengals at home... We do that, and I really like our chances at winning in the post season. We drop the division or end the season on a 4 game losing streak? We would seem poised for a quick exit.

We aren't beating the Chiefs, you can forget about that. The best we can do is win the Bengals game and secure the #5 seed.

If you think the Steelers have no chance in the playoffs this season that’s fine. If t already given up that’s fine.
But at least **** off and let the rest of us enjoy the rest of the season
Did I mention to **** off?
