Well I know Tomlin will get in....no matter what others think. I believe Watt for freaking sure, and Wilson.
    Cam Heyward probably.
I'm not sure on Minkah (I believe You had Him). I like Minkah, and think He's good, but HOF good.....I'm not sure:shrug:

I only said consideration. I think when Minkah retires there will be some conversation. Whether he actually does get in or not is moot.

I imagine you sitting in your basement playing with yourself in front of a life-sized picture of Noll. As good as he was, How'd he do after 1980? Waste of a paycheck, right?

I would say another season without a playoff win is a failure. Maybe that would be acceptable for the Jets or Jaguars. It should not be acceptable for a franchise like the Steelers.

That’s where I am at with things. I want to see this team win a playoff game or 2 to feel good about the direction we are going otherwise it’s just more of the same. Same as it ever was.

We have exceeded my expectations this up to this point, but from this position not winning a playoff game will be a disapointment - will will piss me off is another playoff egg laying. It is saddening that the one player we could least afford to lose outside RW, has gone down with a hammy.

Pickens will be back before the playoffs.

I hope so, but that's a dang long lasting lingering injury, we all know it.

Pickett would probably run away from that as well

And he will need to get up to speed very quickly. Which is tough with an injury like that.

We know Buffalo and Baltimore can put up points. Going into either place without the ability to win a shootout is a recipe for disaster.

It's a successful season imo. They achieved a lot from this roster set up. Frankly, I'm fatigue of hearing how this team is built to win now.

    Blow... It... Up

The Cleveland loss is going to cost them the division and home playoff game.

Had they won that game, could lose to Chiefs and won the division vs Cincy.

At this point, the best to hope for is to win in week 18, get the 5 seed.

Lose both and they're going to either Buffalo or Baltimore

I actually do think we would have a chance with Pickens to go back into Baltimore and beat them.

Go into Buffalo and win? Not a chance.

Baltimore loss to Cleveland too. What's costing them the division is getting exposed by superior teams.

It's obvious now that we were never as good as our record said we were.

They did, but that was when the Ravens were still figuring it out and on D when Winston just started, so there wasn't much to see yet. If the Steelers watched the Ravens lose in Cleveland, they should have been even more cautious and prepared for that game, which further reinforces their failure in that game.

The Browns gave up 27, 35, 41, 27 in the 4 games surrounding the Steeler win.

And before you claim weather, the Browns scored 24 in that game and scored 10, 14, 32, 14 in the games surrounding that game.

Noll won playoff games in '84 and '89. Hell... Steelers haven't done that in 7 years.
