DJ can't be any worse than the production they are getting out of Roman Wilson this year. I thought Roman was drafted to replace DJ, and now we need DJ to come back and replace Roman Wilson as our route running specialist who know how to create separation.

 

Unreal the thinking of some on here. DJ gets cut, was a cancer here, but they want him back?!?

Only the team knows what really went on in the locker room and how bad it was. If that outweighs what he can do on the field then pass and let him be someone else’s problem

But the team is in a crisis at WR, they literally do not have even one NFL starting caliber receiver on the roster with Pickens out

Is there a possibility that he is humbled after being canned by three team on 12 months now? Probably not

our WR are no good except Pickens and sometimes Austin.why wouldn't you want DJ back --He is AB light...going to be just like him. Mentally. But is skilled enough to help. They won't sign anyone else. It's very odd that a few fans think that not one, not two, but three NFL teams have gotten it wrong on DJ and he should be playing right now.

There is a reason he is looking for work right now.

 

I highly doubt the Steelers would even entertain bringing him back especially at this stage of the season but man our WR room is awful so there has to be a little enticement? Van Jefferson and Mike Williams is about as bad as it gets at this level for the amount of snaps they are being asked to play. CA 3 is a decent little slot/deep threat guy. We have nothing else besides an injured GP. Chaka screwed up this unit very badly.

There's a rule that teams can't trade back for a player it traded away for two years

Now if he clears waivers and is basically unemployed that’s different
