Uh, yeah. I think the guy who started the "Is the 2012 Team Officially Being Blown Up?" thread.

And maybe the guy who started the "Is the Pride Gone?" thread.

And you can also check with the guy who started the "Anyone Else Surprised by Our Free Agency Action?" thread.

Decide whether to worry or not when all of the dust settles.

I put my trust in Kevin Colbert I think he knows what he's doing. All those players you are worried about leaving Colbert drafted them.

Worried? No. I wasn't worried this time last year after we parted with Ward, Farrior, Smith, Kemoeatu, McFadden, Battle, Essex, and whoever else I'm forgetting.

At the moment, no I'm not worried. I would love to see some movement on the offensive side of the ball in a more positive way, but look at our current D. We can still win with this D.

    Hood/McLendon/Keisel
    Woodley/Timmons/Foote/Worilds
    Ike/Allen
    Troy/Clark

That group right there will get the majority of your snaps.

Our offense if hurting though, especially at the skill positions. Those things can be dealt with over the next few weeks.

Were you guys calling for Cowhers head every time he didn't make the playoffs? It would explain a lot. I'm never quick to call for a HC job because it's a knee jerk reaction, I look at a guys body of work and Tomlins body of work has been excellent so far, in fact he has an almost identical record to Cowher at this point in his career, separated by only one win. Oh yeah, I forgot, Tomlin won with Cowhers players, the same way Cowher won with Nolls players, guess Cowher wasn't that good either.

.............and Gruden won with Dungy's players, yet many people on here (and other NFL cities) would love to have him as their coach.

Can't dance around the issue that Cowher inherited good players from Nolls team. Unless you are a perennial 2-14 franchise, you generally inherit good players. For the record, I think we would have a couple more rings if Cowher had Ben earlier in his career, he had some very talented teams, just not the QB but that was his fault, he didn't want an "elite" QB. He wanted game manages and QB's he could control.

Mundy Mundy can't trust that Willie Gay.

Mundy Mundy so good to see him get a chance albeit with the G.

Mundy Mundy how could he leave and not take me?

    I love New York!

Hysterical. I swear this board is the ONLY place you'll hear a peep about a dislike for Tomlin. I was in Houston,Texas last week and was talking to a businessman who is a huge supporter of Houston Cougars football. We were talking about them losing Kevin Sumlin to A&M and he said he was crushed. Said Sumlin was awesome, hated to see him go, how great a coach and motivator he was, and thought he was a lot like "Pittsburgh's coach . . . Tomlin." I kind of laughed as this board came to mind.

I swear, just about any place I travel in this country people will tell you they hate the Steelers but love their coach. Even in Cleveland!!

I'm guessing the Tomlin hatred was born during the infamous losing streak a few years back? He came out and said he would fix it and we would "unleash hell" and then things got worse? I guess some simpletons figured Tomlin didn't have the ablity to motivate his players after that? Because now every time we lose a game it seems that it's because Tomlin didn't motivate the players. Now that Arians is out of town I guess Tomlin is the only scapegoat left. God knows Todd Haley is off limits.

Thank gawd the Tomlin-bashing doesn't extend beyond this board. Have at it.

I see it EVERYWHERE I go, and have for years honestly. Never understood the "Anti-Tomlinites"™ personally, but they're not confined to this corner of the internet.

Yep, and also you won't find a single analyst who doesn't think Tomlin is a top 5 coach in the league, now God knows I don't always agree with analysts but it's also rare when they all agree with each other. Go ahead, find me one who doesn't think so, find me one that doesn't think Tomlin doesn't do a good job period. Call any sports show and ask them what they think about Tomlin. Doesn't matter Shiner, it's what fans do, I bet you even Noll had fans calling for his head and doubting his coaching ability.

Cowher took it hard too. The lean years in the late 90s had a large Fire Cowher Now contingent calling local sports radio.

Its honestly the nature of fans everywhere. Go read some Ravens MBs from the midpoint of last season. It was probably a 50/50 split regarding people who wanted Flacco gone.
