Watching the Tennessee game... Levis < Rudolph... i say IF we deal Fields we bring back Mason to back up Wilson... Levis ain't getting it done in Tennessee, Mason is better,

Based off what? If we pay him 30 million a year in the offseason, then why wouldn’t he take it?

I would bring Wilson back, but not for a 3-5 year contract. 1-2 years at most. I just can’t get on board with a long term contract for a short term answer. In terms of Justin Fields I would be good bringing him back too, but I think he will move on for a better shot at starting.

I can see Fields getting offers from Vikings if they move on from Darnold, in case McCarthy flops. Colts... Richardson has a 50% completion %. Seahawks... Fields could challenge Geno Smith for starting job. Browns... likewise with Jameis Winston.

Mason would be a decent backup, for sure. Said that BEFORE we let him easily out the back door this off-season. that said - he should be in the mix as a back up, for 2025 - in the conversation. and the Wilson negation will be interesting to say the least

If we CRASH and BURN the rest of this year, we can get him dirt cheap and with little string attached. If he flies to the moon and wins a playoff game or 2, well, the price goes up!!

it is elementary, my dear Watson.....

correct - he will want a ROCK SOLID contract. I am not ready to give it to him. I think we sign a top Tier FA OR draft a WR 1 or 2. Then we have Pickens (final year of his contract in '25), a Top Tier and Paid opposite starter, and Roman Wilson, to get started, plus CA3.

He is a pain in the ass - 50/50 that Khan shops him in the spring........

not sure - they KNOW he is not much. Darnold may want to STAY there, and VIKES have to pay someone. Seems like a good fit?

My fear is not in losing either one of them but lies witin giving Wilson a big contract.

Atlantas stupidity has quickly bitten them in the ass.

I hope they let Wislon walk if hes looking to cash in.

I did. If we offered him what he wants, why wouldn't he take it instead of going to FA? What makes you think he would force his way to FA if the money he wants is already on the table with us?

I agree. There is 0 chance I want Russ on a Kirk Cousins contract.... If that is what Russ wants, then so be it. I'd pay him more than I would pay to keep Fields, but there's a limit. We can always let him walk and roll with Justin on a bridge starter deal/draft a QB.
