Mason Rudolph is back in the saddle in Nashville. The former Pittsburgh Steelersquarterback is starting for the Tennessee Titans after they benched starter Will Levis against the Cincinnati Bengals. Levis has been dealing with a shoulder injury, but has become a dangerously volatile player and turns the ball over at one of the highest rates in the NFL.

Rudolph already started three games this season and played in five. He wasn't great, completing 63 percent of his passes with six touchdowns, five interceptions, and a middling 6.6 yards per attempt.

6TD's 5 INt's. Not good. The only game he looked good in was against Miami.
I have no idea why they went with Will Levis anyway.... That Franchise is a mess.
    Pass.

In defense of the 2023 Steelers.... Rudolph does not have the weapons in Tennessee that he had last year with Steelers.

He turns the ball over as much, if not more than Jameis Winston

Yeah, minus the huge amount of yards Winston can throw for. He's either a huge game or an absolute mess lol

Levis is just a mess. They will be drafting a QB in the first round this year I think.

If Mason Rudolph is the answer, then you're asking the wrong question.

    Please get over it.

the ANSWER is ..... BACKUP, AVAILABLE and CHEAP

the QUESTION is: Who will backup Russell Wilson next year

    Mason should be a consideration.

With Winston, a lot of times its both at once. I think lost in the glamour of his 497 yard game was that he thew 3 INTs, 2 for P6's. Umm... that's not a good game, I wish analysts would stop making it into one.

I mean... I guess? It would make sense to have a back up with a solid deep ball if we want to match that aspect of the offense with Wilson.

What is the contract? like 2 years 9 million?

Never minded Rudolph as a backup. I don't mind seeing him back in that capacity. However I think the Oilers, i mean titans give him a contract and pickup a Qb in the draft

The Titans named Rudolph the starter today for the rest of the season. It sounds like they are done with the Will Levis experiment and will be drafting a QB in the draft next year.

The OP can correct me if I'm wrong, but I dont believe the OP was suggesting bringing in Mason Rudolph. They were just discussing him starting the rest of the season.

I like Rudolph, but like others have said, he has not been good so far this season.

The Titans have given Will Levis every chance in the world because of his incredible arm strength and overall athletic ability but he just isn't mentally acute enough to grasp the QB position. The Titans have no choice but to go with Rudolph for the rest of the season.

not too hard to not root for him - he's a funny guy and says some crazy stuff - they like him on GMF. but certainly lots out there to question. he's like Big Ben and Ray Lewis - suddenly finding God.
