He's on IR still. At this point I doubt he would be of much help this late in the season.

Try to google and read about it and it like trying to figure out who shot Kennedy.

they should be making EVERY EFFORT to get him ready to play football, by Christmas.

Very similar to CA3's rookie year. Showed somethings in camp but got hurt and by the time he has healed up to late in the season to activate him best to just shut him down and wait.

maybe there seems to be a LOT OF questions, in and around Pittsburgh - at least with knowledgeable fans.

    the MTDF effort continues

    you must like being MEDIOCRE

Some small third round WR isn't going to put them over the top this season .

Because a rookie that’s never caught a pass or started a game is going to save the Steelers?

Knowledgeable fans? You don’t know his name or that he’s on injured reserve and try to lay claim to being a knowledgeable fan. You can’t make this crap up.

Hey guy, you took a lot of sh!t with that post you made. They kept wanting me to ask you how weak are they now. I told them to mind their own damn boards business and stop coming to ours.

I do the same thing. I go to the boards of the team we are playing and find out what their fans are thinking. I'm checking Ravens board this week.

Joe Starkey had heard that Roman didnt leave a good impression on Tomlin. If that is the case, perhaps him being out makes a bit more sense. There is also the injury as well; how bad is it?!

It is known that it is a hamstring. It is not known how severe the injury is.

Wrote him off a while ago for this season. Missed too much time to be of any value. I see his path very much like CAIII.

WR will be high on the list of needs next draft.

Roman is still on IR, but elgible for the Steelers to activate his 21 day window, so he can return to practice, if they want to. If George is gone for the regular season there may still be a Roman Wilson sighting in 2024.

Didn't CAIII miss his rookie season? Roman Wilson is on the CAIII rookie plan.

He probably wouldn't have been a big contributor given the time he'd already missed, but I hate seeing guys transitioning to the pros not getting in as much developmental work as possible.

Tankathon currently has the Steelers picking 26th and taking Isiah Bond, WR, Texas. Some say he'll threaten Xavier Worthy's combine speed, but whether he does or not you can see the explosiveness on his tape, and it's not just vertical. He runs a diverse route tree and gets creative with his burst to leave defenders turned inside-out. He goes 5'11", 180 but is also known for playing more physical than that, not afraid to challenge defenders with his hands early in routes to help create separation. I like him.

Ah I was talking about Austin. I know Wilson didn't show much in camp just saw some stuff about him during OTA's and minicamp which let's face it it's football in shorts but at this point a rookie who has missed everything up until this point shouldn't even be considered. Like I said shut him down and he can try again in 4 months.
