For a Wr, Te, and Rb to make money...they must show production. Not a one would pick Fields over Wilson. They remember the whole 5 td passes in 6 games, and only one to the Wrs.
Your boy is a backup....hell with his injury he is probably a backup to the backup. All Your crying won't change anything.

 

Maybe , maybe not but I asked what does it hurt1 to play fields if WR is struggling? we are in the playoffs now so? most on here think we arnt gona be better than a 7 0 7 seed so that's an away game... just a few weeks ago most on here was saying Pickens needs to be benched now that he isn't plauing they are blaming him on not playing on Wilson's struggling which is prob true.. but for ****s sake pick a side..... I asked why it hurt ok play fields and everyone got ass hurt.. I thought Fields was brought here to learn behind WR he has set 8 games, let's see if he has learned anything

 

Also Fields wenf to Washington more than Wilson not sure why u would go away from a 300, monster to move the ball prty sure he hasn't had many drops

 

1. I have never wanted Pickens bench, or injured.
2. We seen what Fields did last time they let him throw. There is a reason He's not playing.

Fields only threw to Washington 7 times in 6 games.
Wilson has thrown to him over 16 times.

Neither of these QBs are the answer but Wilson is an actual NFL QB. Our WR group is just awful without GP. Blame Chaka.

Why is it everyone wants to blame the Qb or the HC when we don’t do well? Wilson didn’t play great but he was not the problem on Sunday. The offensive line could have played alot better. Our run game was terrible. The receivers weren’t getting open so what is Russ supposed to do? How about our defense? Yes we got some turnovers but continually giving up long drives is a recipe for losing. Ridiculous one sided penalties didn’t help and were not a good enough team yet to overcome penalties.

 

With that thread title I thought we were going to have some deep poetry.

Wilson didn’t play defense against the Eagles. Only had 2 offensive possessions in the whole 2 half!
Eagle loss definitely on the defense. Here’s an idea… the TS wants Fields in there so badly, put Fields in the secondary

 

No, but this is a cop out. If Wilson and the offense put up more than 163 yards for the game we wouldn't have been in such a bad situation. The defense got 2 turnovers in the first half that we squandered. We scored 13 points on 6 offensive possessions in the first half. The TD drive was 11 plays and 70 yards. The 5 other possessions was a combined 18 plays, -8 yards (2 FG). You can pretty firmly say that the defense was pretty directly responsible for the 2 FG's and we got nothing out of TJ's strip. The offense was absolutely inept. You can't say that the offense wasn't just as much to blame as the defense. Both units were bad.... but the offense was definitely worse. Hell, even the two 2nd half possessions we did get were combined 11 plays and 62 yards, 0 points and a turnover. Its not like we didn't squander the possessions we did have.

I can understand the frustration with the offense. The real thing we learned is that it doesn't matter who the QB is, we need weapons. Our WR room is devoid of playmakers. Austin is fine enough as a threat when Pickens is on the field, but he isn't going to be a "go to" guy that picks up the slack when 14 is hurt. This was the main worry going into the season and its unfortunately bit us here late in the season. Upgrading WR2 and Harris in the offseason is a huge priority.

 

The defense couldn’t get off the field in 2 half! How is this a cop out? Really? I don’t think I ever seen a team only have 2 possessions in a half my entire life! 40 minutes to 20 in TOP
I definitely agree with you about offense not generating anything at all with the 2 turnovers. Im hoping that Eagles are that good, really concerning
Also, Eagles could have 1 n 20, which they did, and they pick it up on one play. Defense didn’t show up in Philly.

 

The point is that the defense isn't the only thing to blame. Whenever you have 5 of your 6 possessions combine for negative yardage in the first half (and those 5 possessions combined for 6:13 in TOP).... The offense is to blame too. That's all I'm saying. Maybe the defense wouldn't be so tired if we could actually stay on the field offensively. Its a double-edged sword, and both are to blame...
