When it’s Jones who tries to calm Moore down it’s a sign that Moore’s days are numbered

We got our ass kicked plain and simple.
If we had to lose a game of our last four this is the one.
Defense and special teams made some plays and created some opportunities early that the offense didn’t capitalize on. If they had it might’ve been a different game? Defense played like chit in the 2nd half. So did the offense.
I still believe we win 2 more games.

So it’s not an Achilles, Jones, or Liz Franc injury?

It’s all hindsight now, and hopefully Fautanu turns out to be a good player, but I can’t help but wonder how this year would turn out if we drafted Quenyon Mitchell. He looked like a superstar today.

They would have known it was an Achilles tear immediately. There could still be a fracture that was missed on the initial X-ray.

I dont want to rewatch, but how many times did we rush more than 4? Not being physical enough with their receivers and assuming we relied on too much 4 man pass rushes again, same old same old Austin and Tomlin D scheme

You have known me long enough, good friend. Pain or not, gonna have to for I cannot engage within the weekly recaps that @blackandgoldpatrol@blackandgoldpatrol provides us. Besides, honesty is always the best policy!

In games like this it shows they could've used a first round CB over OL, Jackson was getting beat before he got injured.

Not trying to split hairs here, but technically he didn’t “fumble” right? He didn’t catch a backward toss.

This game is just proof we are at the B level in the league. So maybe we get one playoff win? What’s that trophy look like? It just means we pick deeper in the draft.

I’m ready for Kahn to do more draft and off season magic to add talent. He’s helped drive this team to better waters more than anyone else.

I don’t like Arthur Smith. He’s just a touch better than Canada. The idea that he can’t get Friermuth MUCH more involved and utilize Mike Williams more is criminal to me. Why hasn’t Roman Wilson been caught up on this moving toy train of an offense.

And get rid of the O-line coach too. This squad should be better. I think it’s his bad scheme.

It’s the general offensive philosophy and we all know where it starts. Russ has been better than expected this year but he is getting up there in age it’s not unreasonable to think this is his last decent year. The wheels fall off at any point at this stage of a career.

Watching it live it seems as though our blitz packages are very predictable. Very little through the middle. Very few DB blitzes. It's been the same most of the season.

I can tell myself they were playing it safe in Philly and looking to the long term, but I'm not entirely persuaded.

While we're clearly missing Pickens, lets not pretend the offense was consistently hitting stride with him on the field.

Brady hit the nail on the head when he talked about more crosses and slants. That's a curious aspect of Smith's offense, but we have the guys to make it work (Austin, Miller, even no,15 who's name I can't spell)

Nah, just happy to see you.

Worst thing about this loss? A coworker and I had a friendly bet on the game. I have to wear an Eagles jersey all day Monday at work.

Unsure why, but the official stats charged the fumble to Russell Wilson.

Yup, and the guy they passed on was one of the reasons the receivers couldn’t get open much last night.

Probably because Harris never had possession, but it was all Harris’s fault. Wilson did his job.

nobody mentioned our DC. there were area's of the field that had nobody to cover them at different times and that is where philly threw the ball. the whole middle of the field was open at times. elandon roberts is not a safety, quit playing him like one. he is so afraid of the pass that he actually makes it easier for teams to pass.

Some of the players don't seem to have any concept of how to play that zone Austin likes running so much, especially on second or third-and-long. The Eagles converted way too easily for most of the game. Roberts is the worst offender, but far from the only one. They definitely missed Elliott, but his presence alone isn't going to fix things.

As someone else mentioned, Jackson isn't good. He was awful yesterday before he got hurt. He was hesitant in man coverage and had an ugly missed tackle to allow the Eagles to convert a third down. People need to stop saying they didn't need to draft a cornerback in the first round this year because they had the position covered with Porter and Jackson. That simply isn't the case. Quinyon Mitchell would have made a huge difference in this defense in general and last night in particular. Fautanu may eventually be a good player for the Steelers, but passing on Mitchell was a huge mistake.

True. The only positive is it was an NFC team. Ravens lost to them as well. So apples for apples.

But the fashion they lost is a concern. Flat, confused, overmatched and out coached.

But lets not get Dramatic

Someone in the game day thread claimed it was exactly like the Mendy fumble. An unforced error. While it is true the Harris fumble was an unforced error the same can’t be said about Mendy’s fumble
