James Harrison to the Ravens?

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but I didn't see anything. Feels weird to put something about JH in the Other Team Talk, but since he is no loner a Steeler....


Makes me sick to think of him in a Ravens uniform. Something in the world just seems off with the prospect of this happening. I wish JH luck and hope he finds a team, but the Ravens? C'mon man

 

Fans care more about "the enemy" than players do. It's a business and nothing more. If the Ravens make him a good offer (if they make him an offer at all), I wouldn't blame him one bit for signing with them.

 

ScottChab is right. Pretty easy to hate the enemy these days when you're under a contract for a team, but the minute you're unemployed, suddenly you're gonna be a fan of any team that will pay you.

 

Don't get me wrong...I understand what he is doing. I think it is a rare thing for a player to have so much loyalty that they would hang it up instead of going to another team if they were released before they really wanted to retire.
I don't fault James here at all. I just hate from the fan perspective, thats all.
